Summary

Kicker Rank: #13All Players: #292
Crosby struggled last season, having his worst season as a pro. He did score 113 points but made just 64 percent of his field goals. Crosby really struggled on long-distance kicks, going just 2-of-9 from 50-plus yards. He did miss just two kicks below 40 yards, though, so that was a positive. Either way, he is going to have to kick better this season to keep his job as the Packers starting kicker. Crosby averages 127 points per season in six seasons as the Packers starter. He also makes 77 percent of his field-goal attempts. Crosby has a big leg and has missed just 11 kicks from less than 40 yards for his career. But his accuracy isn't very good on longer kicks, which will need to improve if he hopes to continue to start in this league. He does have a strong leg, though, to make those kicks.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Even though he struggled last season, his fantasy numbers were fine. As long as he is starting in this offense, you can expect big numbers from Crosby. He is a low-end No. 1 for fantasy teams. Crosby carries some risk after last season but will be good for 125 or so points if he can keep his job all year.

Green Bay Packers PK Mason Crosby did not kick over the bye week to try and clear his mind. However, it didn't appear to work, as he misfired on his first two field goal attempts in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions. 'I put good strikes on them, I just didn't put them on line,' Crosby said. 'There's a lot of things that go into it. I just have to work through it here.'
Fantasy Impact: You have to wonder if his job is in jeopardy at this point.

Green Bay Packers PK Mason Crosby attempted 10 to 15 kicks from at least 50 yards during practice Wednesday, Oct. 24, because he has only hit one of four attempts from that distance during the season. He said he was trying to use the same motion he does when he kicks from a shorter distance. Special teams coach Shawn Slocum said Crosby has been hurrying his kicks from over 50 yards which has hurt his mechanics.
