Green Bay Packers special teams coach Shawn Slocum said struggling PK Mason Crosby had a 'pretty good' week of practice. Crosby has missed seven of his past 13 kicks, including two last week against the Detroit Lions. 'We need to make field goals. We've talked about it. Green Bay Packers PK Mason Crosby did not kick over the bye week to try and clear his mind. However, it didn't appear to work, as he misfired on his first two field goal attempts in Week 11 against the Detroit Lions. 'I put good strikes on them, I just didn't put them on line,' Crosby said. 'There's a lot of things that go into it. I just have to work through it here.'

Green Bay Packers PK Mason Crosby attempted 10 to 15 kicks from at least 50 yards during practice Wednesday, Oct. 24, because he has only hit one of four attempts from that distance during the season. He said he was trying to use the same motion he does when he kicks from a shorter distance. Special teams coach Shawn Slocum said Crosby has been hurrying his kicks from over 50 yards which has hurt his mechanics.
