Wide Receiver Rank: #187 Overall: #581
Last season was supposed to be a breakout season for Thomas. That clearly wasn't the case. He didn't impress the new Redskins' coaching staff and was released shortly before the start of the season. He was claimed by the Panthers on waivers but didn't last long with Carolina, getting released after about a month on the team. The Giants were next to claim him, but he never got in any game action with New York. Carolina was the only team to play Thomas last season, but he failed to record a reception in the game. Thomas has 40 receptions in three NFL seasons. He has failed to live up to his high draft status (second-round pick). Thomas has talent, but can't seem to put it together. His work ethic has been questioned, which doesn't help matters for Thomas. He is a big target with some speed, but just a so-so route runner with limited playmaking ability. He'll compete for a roster spot in 2011.

Thomas had his best chance to really do something last season, but failed to seize a starting spot in Washington. That might have been his last chance to start in the NFL. He is a big stretch for fantasy teams. |
