#11 Brian Brohm
 Pos: Quarterback
NFL Team: BUF
Injury: OK
Experience: 2
College: Louisville
Height: 75
Weight: 223
Born: 9/23/1985
SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #92
Overall: #539

Brohm was a bit of a disappointment his rookie season. He lost the backup job to late-round pick Matt Flynn, which was a surprise. Brohm has talent, but needs a lot of work. He has a plus arm and is accurate. Plus, he moves around well in the pocket and can make plays with his feet.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Brohm is a reach at this stage of his career.
Greg A. Bedard and Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, report the Buffalo Bills have signed QB Brian Brohm off the Green Bay Packers' practice squad, according to a source. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Fantasy Impact: Brohm probably is better off landing with a new team, but don't expect him playing any time this year.
Tom Pelissero, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers practice squad QB Brian Brohm received interest from five teams to join their practice squad, but he decided to re-sign with the Packers, according to a source.
Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports free-agent QB Brian Brohm (Packers) has cleared waivers, but he is taking his time deciding which practice squad he plans to join. The Green Bay Packers are waiting to hear from him and are holding a spot open for him, but he is talking with other clubs, according to a league source.
Brad Biggs, of the National Football Post, reports the Green Bay Packers will waive QB Brian Brohm, according to league sources.
Fantasy Impact: Talk about a bust. He'll likely get another chance but has a long ways to go.
Mike Spofford, of Packers.com, reports Green Bay Packers QB Brian Brohm said he believes the team's offseason workouts will help him understand the offense better. 'I think it's really going to help, just from going through a whole year of being in the offense and now getting to go through QB school. Really, to play quarterback in this system, you need to understand every little detail, and going through this will help solidify that. When you know all the details, you can just go out there and play and not have to think about them, so I think it should be very good for all of us,' Brohm said.
Greg A. Bedard and Tom Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, report Green Bay Packers QB Brian Brohm said he is disappointed he did not win the primary backup quarterback job, but knows breakdowns in his technique in the preseason hurt his chances. "Of course I'm disappointed, but I knew I didn't perform up to my level of expectations in the preseason games and in camp. I think the breakdown really wasn't mental. I think some of my technique has been a little bit off this camp. Got to get back to throwing the ball the way I know how to, putting a little more juice behind the ball and just letting it rip. I think I might have been holding back on a few throws so I just have to get back to letting the ball come out of my hand. Let it fly," Brohm said.
Pete Dougherty, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers QB Brian Brohm struggled again during the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 16. Brohm was 12-for-26 for 103 yards. He lost a fumbled snap and narrowly avoided an interception in the game, raising questions on whether the team should look into signing a veteran quarterback. Head coach Mike McCarthy has already stated the team is not interested in bringing in a veteran.
Tim Silverstein, of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel, reports Green Bay Packers QB Brian Brohm has a long injury history. Brohm's injuries include a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee in 2005, a torn ligament in his right thumb and a torn labrum in 2006. However, Brohm was not injured in 2007.
Rob Demovsky, of the Green Bay Press-Gazette, reports Green Bay Packers rookie QB Brian Brohm is viewed as a solid option as the backup to starting QB Aaron Rodgers. His injury history may be of some concern for the team, as well as questions about his athleticism and arm strength.
