SUMMARY
Running Back Rank: #67
Overall: #281

Choice made the most of his chances late in the season, taking advantage of some injuries. He got more playing time than expected and totaled 488 yards and two touchdowns his last four games of the season. Choice probably earned some work for the coming season although he'll be competing with Marion Barber and Felix Jones for carries. Choice displayed good quickness and big-play ability his rookie season. He does a good job of setting his blocks and hitting the hole quickly. His small size remains a concern for Choice being an every-down back in the NFL.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Playing time is a concern for Choice, but if he gets the work, expect good things. Choice is a solid receiver, giving him good total yardage potential. He is worth a flyer as a No. 4 or 5 back for fantasy teams.
David Moore, of The Dallas Morning News, reports Dallas Cowboys head coach Wade Phillips said he must try to get RB Tashard Choice more touches as the season progresses. 'We've got to give him some touches,' Phillips said. 'We can't eliminate him. He makes plays.' Although Choice admitted that he does not know how many carries he will receive on a weekly basis, he does know that he serves as the team's third-down back.
Fantasy Impact: Choice has become a good flex play or spot starter as a No. 2 back for fantasy teams. Expect him to continue to get work the rest of the season.

David Moore, of The Dallas Morning News, reports Dallas Cowboys RB Tashard Choice said he making sure he knows the offense and is ready to play a role in the offense in Week 3 in case RB Marion Barber III (quadriceps) is not able to play. Choice said he wants to make the most of the opportunities he receives this season.
Fantasy Impact: Choice is worth using as a flex play if Barber misses the game.

Matt Mosley, of ESPN.com, reports Dallas Cowboys RB Tashard Choice will take on a larger role in the offense if RB Marion Barber III (quadriceps) does not play in Week 3.
Fantasy Impact: Choice could be worth roster spot if you are looking for running back help. He might be a decent No. 3 back or flex option if Barber is out.

Dallas Cowboys RB Tashard Choice had eight carries for 55 yards Saturday, Aug. 29, against the San Francisco 49ers.

Tim MacMahon, of The Dallas Morning News, reports it is not known how the Dallas Cowboys will use RB Tashard Choice this season, but owner/general manager Jerry Jones as well as running backs coach Skip Peete have said Choice will have a regular role in the offense. Choice could be used to spell RB Marion Barber III for a series or two during games and can also be used if the team lines up in the wildcat formation. The Cowboys have also worked on a formation with all three running backs on the field at the same time.
Fantasy Impact: Choice just makes plays when he is on the field, so the Cowboys will get him involved some this coming season. He could be worth a late pick in deeper leagues.

Tim MacMahon, of The Dallas Morning News, reports Dallas Cowboys RB Tashard Choice (shoulder) underwent an MRI on his shoulder but it did not show any structural damage. He may be held out of contract drills for a few days.
Fantasy Impact: Choice is having a strong camp, so his injury status is good news. He should be fine in a few days.

Tim MacMahon, of The Dallas Morning News, reports Dallas Cowboys RB Tashard Choice lined up behind center in the shotgun when the team practiced the Wildcat formation during practice Tuesday, June 9.

ESPN.com reports Dallas Cowboys RB Tashard Choice has nine carries for 91 yards with one touchdown, in addition to four receptions for 52 yards, in Week 15.
Fantasy Impact: Choice didn't start but was clearly a lot more effective then Marion Barber, who still seemed to be hurting.

Dallas Cowboys RB Tashard Choice will have a role in the team's Week 15 game even if RB Marion Barber III (toe) returns to the lineup. Choice could take over some of the third down duties while working a series in each half with the regular offense.
Fantasy Impact: Choice has at least some flex value for the rest of this season.

The Associated Press reports Dallas Cowboys RB Tashard Choice had 23 carries for 88 yards and five receptions for 78 receiving yards during the team's Week 14 game.
Fantasy Impact: Choice performed well in a starting role, which could make the Cowboys ease Marion Barber back into action.
