#10 Erik Ainge
 Pos: Quarterback
NFL Team: NYJ
Injury: OK
Experience: 2
College: Tennessee
Height: 77
Weight: 221
Born: 6/12/1986
SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #76
Overall: #462

Ainge hurt his foot before the season started and landed on Injured Reserve. He also violated the league's policy on steroids and related substances and was suspended four games. Not a great start to his career. But Ainge has some upside, so the Jets won't give up on him just yet. He has a pretty solid arm and produced good numbers in college. Ainge isn't spectacular in any one area, but obviously has room to grow. He could battle for the No. 2 job with the Jets this season, but seems likely to be the No. 3.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Ainge isn't a guy to draft, but he could be a bigger factor as the Jets top backup in another season or two.

Jane McManus, of the Journal News, reports New York Jets QB Erik Ainge has not been at the team's workouts for the last two weeks. Ainge was at the facility on March 26, the first time the media were allowed back to talk to players. For the last two weeks, however, he has not been in the locker room for that availability, and several teammates said they had not seen him at the facility in at least a week. Ainge's agent, James Sexton, did not return calls seeking comment on the situation. The Jets would only say that the sessions are voluntary.
Fantasy Impact: Who knows what is going on here? Ainge could be on the cutting block.
