SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #47
Overall: #268

Flynn found his way in the starting lineup for the first time in his career. Aaron Rodgers had some concussion issues, which led to Flynn playing seven games. Flynn played extensively in two of those games, including an impressive start against the Patriots. He was 24-of-37 for 251 yards and three touchdowns against New England. Flynn showed he is capable of starting and producing in the NFL. He completed 61 percent of his passes for the season with three touchdowns and two interceptions. Flynn should continue to backup Rodgers, who is a premier NFL quarterback. Flynn likely needs a change of scenery to find a starting job. Flynn has good size and is a fairly accurate quarterback. His arm isn't overwhelming, but gets the job done. Flynn also doesn't run too badly as evident by his 26-rushing yards last season.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Unless you are in a really deep league and have Rodgers as your No. 1, using a pick on Flynn is a reach. He did prove last season he could help fantasy teams if he gets some starts, though. Flynn plays for a great passing game and is quickly picking up the offense. Consider him waiver-wire material.
The Washington Redskins are not expected to show much interest in Green Bay Packers impending free-agent QB Matt Flynn this offseason.

Free-agent-to-be QB Matt Flynn (Packers) reportedly has a good relationship with new Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin, who was the offensive coordinator with the Green Bay Packers. Packers QB Aaron Rodgers told a Milwaukee radio station last week that it 'makes sense' that Flynn and Philbin would be reunited with the Dolphins. WR Brandon Marshall reached out to Flynn Friday, Jan. 27, in a move which is not considered tampering.
Fantasy Impact: At this point, all signs are pointing towards Flynn joining the Dolphins this offseason.

Green Bay Packers QB Aaron Rodgers said he believes impending free-agent QB Matt Flynn would be a good fit for the Miami Dolphins because of his relationship with head coach Joe Philbin. Philbin previously served as Green Bay's offensive coordinator. 'I think it kind of makes sense. Joe in that system, which I'm sure is going to be very similar to this system, and Matt having a great grasp of that and playing well in his recent opportunities. I think it would kind of make sense to bring Matt out there,' Rodgers said. 'I think it's a strong possibility that they (the Dolphins) would make a run at him.'
Fantasy Impact: If the Dolphins don't get Peyton Manning, expect them to make a strong push for Flynn.

The Washington Redskins might target free-agent QB Matt Flynn (Packers) when free agency opens in mid-March. The Redskins are 'very interested' in Flynn, according to one source within the organization. Offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan and head coach Mike Shanahan had a detailed conversation about Flynn's Week 17 performance against the Detroit Lions in which he tossed six touchdown passes.
Fantasy Impact: Flynn is likely to get a shot to start with some team next season. He has made plays when given the chance but is still pretty unproven.
