Quarterback Rank: #34 Overall: #207
The Bucs hope Freeman turns out to be their franchise quarterback. He is far from a sure thing, though. Freeman has a ton of talent, but is raw. He needs some seasoning, but the Bucs will give him a shot to start this season. He has some competition, though, in Luke McCown and Byron Leftwich. Freeman has all the tools to be a great NFL quarterback. He has a great arm, can make plays with his feet and has the size and strength to hold up over the course of a season. He needs to improve his decision making and accuracy, though. And he also needs to shore up his footwork a little.

| Freeman will have his struggles, but has some upside. He can make big plays because of his arm and speed. He might be worth a gamble as a low-end No. 2 quarterback, but will be a better option in another season or two. |
