Carolina Panthers CB Brandon Hogan is likely to make his NFL regular season debut in Week 15, according to head coach Ron Rivera. Hogan had surgery last December, and started the season on the Physically-Unable-to-Perform (PUP) list. He'll fill in for CB Darius Butler (concussion), who will be sidelined.

Carolina Panthers head coach Ron Rivera said Friday, Oct. 28, that he called CB Darius Butler (personal) and told him he needs to stay with his family, so it is unlikely he plays in Week 8. Butler's infant daughter had heart surgery Thursday, Oct. 27, and the player posted on his official Twitter account that she had a setback in the morning Friday, Oct. 28, but she is doing well.
