The Browns took two receivers in the second round of this year's draft, using their second pick in round two on Massaquoi. He has the potential to be a solid NFL starter. Massaquoi is a big, strong receiver with good athletic ability. He was plagued by drops in college, though, so he'll need to improve on that if he hopes to become a starter. For now, he'll be the No. 3 or 4 receive for the Browns.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
The Browns don't throw a ton, so Massaquoi isn't much of an option his rookie season. He could be worth a look in deeper leagues, but don't expect anything more than 500-receivng yards.

The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports Cleveland Browns head coach Eric Mangini said he has liked the improvements rookie WR Mohamed Massaquoi has made in his run blocking. 'That, to me, is critical for receivers. It's often overlooked, because the most obvious thing is how many catches, the routes, that type of stuff,' Mangini said. Mangini added that he checked out Massaquoi's rookie notebook recently and was impressed with everything the rookie has put in it to try to absorb.

George M. Thomas, of The Akron Beacon Journal, reports Cleveland Browns rookie WR Mohamed Massaquoi had a good day of practice Tuesday, Aug. 4. His speed allowed him to stand out getting yards after the catch during practice. If he is able to keep flashing his skills like he did during the day, he is going to have no problems making the adjustment to the NFL.

Updating a previous report, Tony Grossi, of the Cleveland Plain Dealer, reports Cleveland Browns WR Mohamed Massaquoi signed a four-year deal that includes $1.863 million in guaranteed money, according to a source. The total maximum value of the contract is $3.636 million.
