Quinn wasn't much of a pass-catcher in college, but a very good blocker. He should serve this role with the Broncos, getting plenty of work as a blocking tight end. It might take some time for him to get chances in the passing game, though, especially with two solid tight ends likely ahead of him on the depth chart. Plus, his speed is limited, which should have him running much shorter routes at the tight end spot.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Quinn should help the Broncos running game, but we don't see him having much impact in the passing game. He probably won't even reach double-digit receptions.

The Denver Broncos have announced they have signed second-round draft choice TE Richard Quinn and fifth-round draft choice WR Kenny McKinley. Terms of the contracts were not disclosed.

Denver Broncos head coach Josh McDaniels said rookie TE Richard Quinn has very good hands despite not getting a lot of chances to show them in college. McDaniels said some believe Quinn was the best blocking tight end in the NFL Draft. 'He's very big and physical and gives us a presence on the edge,' McDaniels said. 'We're going to use some two tight end sets, we have two good tight ends ahead of him, but he'll be in the mix to play in some of those packages.'
