Beckum injured his knee and was placed on Injured Reserve, having his season end early. He didn't catch a pass last season and has 26 receptions in four seasons. Beckum remains backup material but is fighting for an NFL roster spot right now. Beckum has plus speed for a tight end and does a good job of stretching defenses down the middle of the field. He also has decent hands. Beckum doesn't have great size for the tight end spot, which holds him back some, especially when it comes to blocking.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Beckum isn't worth a roster spot just yet. He needs to start getting consistent playing time before you can use a roster spot on him. We doubt that happens this season.
