He actually almost had to play the first game of the season with both Broncos ahead of him on the depth chart hurting, but Brandstater wasn't needed in the game. Brandstater has some positives going for him. He has a plus arm and does fairly well on short or intermediate throws. Brandstater is a big kid (6-5), but also moves around the pocket pretty well. He has some struggles with deeper passes, though, and will need to improve reading defenses. FANTASY OUTLOOK Brandstater might be worth a look in deep keeper leagues, but he isn't likely to have any fantasy impact this season.
