Things didn't play out quite as Tebow hoped in New York. He barely saw the field and couldn't even get a chance to start even with Mark Sanchez playing awful. He was bypassed for Greg McElroy, who had much less experience than Tebow. His time in New York was a huge failure. He attempted just eight passes and ran 32 times for 102 yards. He failed to score a touchdown the entire season. A change of scenery should help Tebow but nothing is certain with his future. It doesn't look like many in this league believe he can be a legit NFL starter. Tebow is a playmaker but struggles as a passer. He completes just 48 percent of his passes for his career, which isn't good enough to start in this league. Unless that changes, he is going to have a hard time getting much playing time. He is a great runner, though, and plays more like a fullback than a quarterback. He'll make plays in crunch time, helping his chances to play.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Tebow has potential if starting because of his running ability but is a risk because of his inability to make consistent plays in the passing game. He could be worth some spot starts or a look as a backup if he is starting but we have a hard time recommending him as a legit No. 1. He has upside but also carries plenty of risk.

New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick 'hates' free-agent QB Tim Tebow (Jets) as a player, according to a source. Another source was asked if Tebow had a chance to join the Patriots as a backup. 'No chance. Plus they wouldn't like the circus that comes with it,' the source said.

Former NFL QB Warren Moon said free-agent QB Tim Tebow (Jets) would have a difficult time playing in the Canadian Football League because he does not throw the football well enough. The CFL places a heavy emphasis on the passing game. 'You have to be able to throw the ball up there, if anything. They throw the ball a lot. It's only three downs, so the passing game is much more important up there, and there's a lot more field to cover,' Moon said. 'If you can't throw the football, it doesn't matter where you play quarterback. You have to be able to throw it. That's his biggest problem, just being able to complete passes, be an accurate passer.'
