Summary

Quarterback Rank: #89All Players: #572
Kafka was released by the Eagles before the start of the season after not being able to find a trade partner. Surprisingly, he didn't latch on with another team. Kafka was signed by the Patriots after the season, though, and will compete for a roster spot with New England for 2013. Kafka played sparingly his second season with the Eagles but didn't look too bad with his work, going 11-of-16 but two of his five incompletions were interceptions. Kafka doesn't have a great arm for the pro game, but is accurate and gets rid of the ball quickly. Kafka also is a good athlete. He moves around the pocket well and can make throws on the run. Kafka needs to work on completing passes downfield and his decision making, but has the potential to get better. He can still be a competent backup in this league.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Kafka can work his way back into good graces with a team going forward because he is young enough but don't count on much. He remains a project and wasn't even on a team last season. Don't bother with him come draft day.
