Meier played 11 games but didn't catch a pass, getting most of his work on special teams. Meier is likely to be the No. 4 or 5 receiver for the Falcons once again this season. He could get a few more chances in the passing game this season but isn't likely to get a ton of work (one target all of last year). Meier has the makeup of a solid possession receiver. He does have some speed, but is a better route runner that uses his size well to shield defenders and make the tough catch. He seems a good fit for the slot, a spot he hopes to claim one day in the near future.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Meier could get some time this season, but isn't likely to make a huge impact. He might get 15 receptions in a reserve role, but that isn't going to help many fantasy teams.
