Shuler was drafted by the Vikings but didn't stick, landing with the Dolphins shortly after the start of the season. Shuler caught two passes in six games with the Dolphins. He displayed some big-play ability, though, totaling 44 yards on those two receptions. Shuler has some competition for playing time at tight end in Miami, but could be the top backup if he performs well in camp and preseason action. Shuler's biggest strength is as a blocker, but he can perform admirably when called on to catch passes.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Even if he is the top backup in Miami, Shuler isn't likely getting many receptions in that role. He'll serve as a blocker more than anything, trying to help the running game.
