Cameron was inactive much of his rookie season, playing eight games. He had six catches in those eight games, failing to top 50 yards for the season. He remains low on the Browns depth chart at tight end. He is a former college basketball player that remains raw at the position but could get more playing time with more experience. Cameron is a top athlete. He has good speed, can jump and the size to be a big-time tight end in the NFL. As mentioned, though, Cameron needs a lot of work. He isn't much of a route runner or blocker, and remains raw. Expect Cameron to serve a reserve role once again this season, getting little playing time.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Cameron seems a long shot to produce but might get a few more chances this year. Even with that said, he might be lucky to double last season's numbers, which isn't good news for him or fantasy teams. He might be a guy to consider in a few more seasons but not now.

Fantasy Impact: Cameron is quickly becoming a sleeper for fantasy teams in 2013.

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron is expected to serve as the No. 1 tight end in head coach Rob Chudzinski's offense, and the position is very busy in the team's new scheme. 'Well he's not ready right now, we are working through that with him,' Chudzinski said Wednesday, April 17. 'He is learning the offense obviously. This is an offense that has featured tight ends and tight ends have always been a big part of it. He has the skill set that fits and he has had a good couple days.'
Fantasy Impact: Cameron is really setup for a breakout season. He could be a low-end No. 1 fantasy tight end.

Cleveland Browns TE Jordan Cameron said he is looking forward to the opportunity to compete for the starting tight end job and playing in the team's new offense. 'I know it's a big opportunity,' Cameron said. 'There's a lot of opportunities to make plays, and I just want to get out there, show what I can do, and showcase my athleticism. I've always been looking for this opportunity, and so far, getting to meet the coaches and some of the new guys has been good so far.'
Fantasy Impact: Cameron has a chance for a much bigger role this season. He could take a big step forward in the new offense.
