The undrafted free agent was a pleasant surprise for the Bears his rookie season. He caught 27 passes in a reserve role for the Bears, playing every game last season. Sanzenbacher has a lot more competition this season for playing time but proved last year he can help in a reserve role. He'll likely be the No. 4 or 5 for the Bears, getting sporadic work. He plays bigger than his size and does well in moving the chains. Sanzenbacher did struggle with drops at times last season, which will need to improve if he hopes to keep getting consistent playing time.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

It is going to be harder for Sanzenbacher to get consistent playing time this year with the options the Bears now have at receiver. Plus, they aren't going to be as pass happy in a new offense. This adds up to avoiding Sanzenbacher come draft day. He could get 20 or so catches for 200 yards with a score or two.

Chicago Bears WR Dane Sanzenbacher had just one catch in Week 6 against the Minnesota Vikings, but it was good for a 13-yard touchdown. The undrafted rookie out of Ohio State has just 17 receptions through six games, but three have been on scoring plays.
Fantasy Impact: Sanzenbacher has played well with his chances. He has been a pleasant surprise for the Bears.
