Binns was supposed to play a bigger role with the Bengals last season but ended up getting cut during the season. He had 18 receptions in eight games before his release. The Dolphins signed him, though, and had six receptions in three games with the Fins. So he had 24 receptions in 11 games last season. Binns is fighting for a roster spot this season. He is assured nothing with a lot more competition for playing time. Binns is a young player with size and decent speed. He has plenty of time to make a name for himself in the NFL but needs to start making plays starting this season. He needs to run better routes and show better hands.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Binns isn't a guy to draft at this point. If he starts getting consistent work, he might be worth a look for fantasy teams, but we aren't expecting big things by any means.

Miami Dolphins head coach Joe Philbin said WR Armon Binns has been a quick learner but is not sure if Binns will be active for Week 15. The Dolphins claimed Binns off waivers earlier this week.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Armon Binns recorded his first career NFL reception in Week 1 against the Baltimore Ravens. He finished with four catches for 28 yards. WR Brandon Tate had one grab for three yards.
Fantasy Impact: Binns could be playing a bigger role in the offense. He made some plays in the opener.

Cincinnati Bengals WR Armon Binns appears to be the early favorite to win the starting wide receiver job opposite WR A.J. Green. Binns doesn't run that well, but he is similar to former Bengals WR T.J. Houshmandzadeh, in that he is a capable player who knows where to go in terms of assignments.
