The team is privately optimistic Martin can do the job, and become a good left tackle. Martin is working to add 20 pounds this offseason, going up to 318. He said he not only wants to get bigger, but also 'stronger and tougher.'

As of Tuesday, April 23, he had not been told by the team's coaching staff which side to focus on. 'I played left for so long, so I'm still a little more comfortable there, but I think I can play both positions comfortably,' Martin said.
