Minnesota Vikings PK Blair Walsh surpassed 107 points on the season with his 38-yard field goal in Week 15, which moved him past former WR Randy Moss for the 14-year-old franchise rookie record for scoring. Walsh also hit three 50-plus yard field goals in the game, which made him the first kicker in team history to kick eight field goals of at least 50 yards in a single season since former PKs Morten Anderson (1995) and Jason Hanson (2008).

Minnesota Vikings PK Blair Walsh knocked through a 51-yard field goal in the first quarter of the Week 2 game against the Indianapolis Colts. He is the first Vikings kicker since PK Fuad Reveiz in 1992 to convert from 50-plus yards in the team's first two games. Walsh also hit a 29-yard field goal, two extra points and he had four touchbacks on his five kickoffs.
Fantasy Impact: Walsh is off to a very impressive start. He is the real deal at kicker.

Minnesota Vikings PK Blair Walsh booted four field goals (20, 42, 55, 38) in Week 1 against the Jacksonville Jaguars, including a game-tying 55-yard field goal to force overtime with 20 seconds left in regulation. He then kicked the game-winning field goal from 38 yards. Walsh set a team record for longest field goal in a season opener, and he became just the fourth Vikings kicker to boot one from 50 or more yards in a Week 1 game. The 55-yard field goal is tied for the second-longest in franchise history.
Fantasy Impact: A good showing for the rookie. He could help fantasy teams in an offense that should be better.

Minnesota Vikings PK Blair Walsh knocked through field goals from 39 and 26 yards to cap the starting offense's first two drives in the preseason opener Friday, Aug. 10, against the San Francisco 49ers. 'It was good to see him come in and kick that field goal early,' head coach Leslie Frazier said. 'The conditions were not great conditions, and he showed some poise and he had a touchback as well.'
Fantasy Impact: It was a good start for Walsh, who is going to be the starting kicker for the Vikings this season.
