SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #29
Overall: #127

Collins grabbed the starting job from Vince Young and had a solid season, leading the Titans to a great season. Collins managed the offense more than anything, but made plays when called upon. He completed 58 percent of his passes and had 12 touchdowns to seven interceptions. Collins did have only four games with 200-plus passing yards, though. Collins proved he can start again, though, and heads into this season as the Titans starter.. He still has a plus arm, but can be turnover prone and doesn't always make great decisions.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Not much of a fantasy option, but could be worth some spot starts in a starting role. Remember, for his career, Collins has 186-touchdown passes to 179 interceptions. His numbers have never been off the charts for fantasy teams.
Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins said he is not happy about his demotion but is ready to support QB Vince Young as the team's new starting quarterback. 'I am not happy about it, don't get me wrong by any stretch of the imagination. But I have nothing to be ashamed about. I practiced hard, worked as hard as I could. It wasn't because I didn't try and wasn't putting everything I had into it. But now I'll support Vince, and I fully expect everybody in this offense to support Vince,' Collins said.
Jim Wyatt and Gary Estwick, of The Tennessean, report Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins said he expects to be the starting quarterback when the team plays again in Week 8.
Fantasy Impact: Nothing is certain at this point.

The Associated Press reports Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins went 2-for-12 for minus seven yards in the team's Week 6 game.
Fantasy Impact: The conditions weren't good by any means, but Collins still played bad. We aren't sure how much longer they can go with him.

The Associated Press reports Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins was 19-for-32 for 164 yards with an interception Week 5. Collins was replaced in the fourth quarter by QB Vince Young, who failed to complete a pass in three attempts.
Fantasy Impact: We can't see the Titans sticking with Collins much longer.

The Associated Press reports Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins had only four games of 200 yards passing or more last season.

Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins was effective Saturday, Aug. 29, against the Cleveland Browns. He hit 11-of-14 passes for 102 yards and a touchdown without throwing any interceptions. Backup QB Vince Young also played well, hitting 17-of-24 passes for 174 yards, one touchdown and one interception. Young also chipped in 20 yards rushing on two attempts, and also lost a fumble during the game.
Fantasy Impact: Collins hasn't been good at all before this game, so his performance is encouraging for the coming season. He is rounding into form.

Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins was picked off two times Saturday, Aug. 15, in preseason action against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He hit 4 of 9 passes for 37 yards with no touchdowns.
Fantasy Impact: Collins hasn't been great so far, but it is early. Don't get too worried - just yet.

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins is expected to start the team's preseason game Saturday, Aug. 15.

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports Tennessee Titans QB Kerry Collins will play the first two series in the team's preseason game Sunday, Aug. 9. QB Vince Young will play the rest of the first half and start the third quarter. QB Patrick Ramsey is scheduled to play in the game, and QB Alex Mortensen could see some playing time depending on how the game is going.

Jim Wyatt, of The Tennessean, reports there will be legitimate competition between Tennessee Titans QBs Vince Young and Patrick Ramsey for the team's No. 2 quarterback job during training camp. All things equal, the Titans would love for Young to blow Ramsey - and starting QB Kerry Collins, for that matter - out of the water and succeed. However, it is uncertain whether it's ever going to work for Young in Tennessee, and there are those inside the organization who think that it won't.
