Summary

Kicker Rank: #36
Overall: #494

At age 42, Kasay enjoyed his best season as a pro with the Saints last year. He became the starting kicker after an injury to Garrett Hartley before the season started. Kasay made 82.4 percent of his field goals and scored a career-high 142 points. He didn't miss a kick less than 40 yards. Kasay did struggle a little on longer kicks, going 7-of-13 on kicks of 40-plus yards. He doesn't have quite the leg strength of past seasons. Hartley will be given first shot to kick for the Saints this year but Kasay was brought back to provide competition. If Hartley shows any signs of struggle, Kasay will be the starter in New Orleans.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
It seems unlikely he wins the starting job in New Orleans, but if he does for some reason, Kasay is a No. 1 for fantasy teams. He can score 130 or so points in this offense in a starting role. But again, we think Hartley will be the kicker to own in New Orleans. He brings much more to the table.

Notes
