Muhammad had another fine season, getting a chance to start in the Panthers offense. He had 53 receptions, giving him 50 or more catches 11 of the last 12 seasons. He is under 600 yards two of the last three seasons, though, so he is starting to show his age. Muhammaed is 37 years old and announced his retirement during the offseason. Muhammad had a solid NFL career. He was a huge target (6-2) and had plus hands. He also was a very good blocker, which was a big asset to the running game.
