Quarterback Rank: #156 Overall: #954
Kitna hadn't played in a game since 2008 but got in 10 games this past season. A shoulder injury to Tony Romo found Kitna back in the starting lineup once again. And Kitna looked pretty good. He actually had the second highest completion percentage of his career (66 percent). Kitna had 17 touchdowns in 10 games and four 300-yard games. His season did end early because of an oblique injury but Kitna should be just fine for the start of 2011. Kitna is a former All Pro that has played at a high level (two 4,000-yard seasons and three years with 20-plus touchdowns). He isn't a full-time starter at age 39 (turns that in late September), but is a valuable backup. Kitna doesn't have a great arm, but is accurate and does a good job of hitting his receivers in stride. He will make some mistakes and force some throws, but can also carry an offense any given week.

Kitna proved last season he is worth a waiver-wire grab if he starts some games. Don't draft him but remember what he did last season if he finds his way back into the starting lineup. Kitna has some upside in a starting role. |
