SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #6
Overall: #44

Warner got a chance to start from day one for the Cardinals and had an MVP-type season. He looked like the Warner from the '99 Rams, throwing for 4,583 yards and 30 touchdowns. His yardage total was the second highest of his career. For his career, Warner completes 65 percent of his passes and has 20-plus touchdown passes in five seasons. Warner doesn't have a huge arm anymore, but is very accurate and extremely smart. He does have a tendency to hold onto the ball too long, though, which can led to fumbles. And his age (38) is a concern although he doesn't have a ton of wear and tear on him starting off and on throughout his career. Warner did have surgery to repair a torn labrum in his hip during the offseason.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Warner moves back into the elite category of fantasy quarterbacks. Don't count on him repeating last season's huge numbers, but another season with 4,000 yards and around 25 touchdowns is certainly possible, making Warner a good pick in the early rounds of your draft.
The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner was 27-for-46 for 242 yards with two touchdowns and five interceptions Week 8 against the Carolina Panthers. He also fumbled the ball away once.
Fantasy Impact: Warner had a game to forget. The Panthers did have the top rated pass defense heading into this one, though. Warner should rebound. He is a veteran that has done stuff like this before and come back the next week with a 300-yard game and three touchdowns.

Bob McManaman, of the Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner said he is not completely happy with the offense at this point because they have not consistently produced. 'I'm not happy yet. Until we start performing like we did in the first half last week every time out, I'm not going to be happy. That's what I expect from us, to move the ball up and down the field, to make plays, and we just haven't done it nearly consistent enough over the first four games, so I'm not really happy with anything yet,' Warner said.

The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner was 26-for-38 for 302 yards with two touchdowns Week 5. It was the 50th time in his career Warner surpassed 300 yards passing in a game.
Fantasy Impact: Warner has been razor sharp his last few games.

Bob McManaman, of The Arizona Republic, reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner is 47 yards away from reaching 13,000 passing yards as a member of the Cardinals. Warner would become the second quarterback in NFL history to pass for at least 13,000 yards with two different teams.

Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner (shoulder) practiced in full Wednesday, Oct. 7.
Fantasy Impact: Warner seems to be getting closer to full strength, which is a good thing for all his owners.

Bob McManaman and Kent Somers, of The Arizona Republic, report Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner (shoulder) said his shoulder is still sore from a stinger he suffered in Week 1. He took most of the snaps during practice Wednesday, Sept. 30, and expects to practice this week.
Fantasy Impact: We wouldn't expect Warner to miss any time because of this injury, but it could be impacting his play a little.

The Associated Press reports Arizona Cardinals QB Kurt Warner was 30-for-52 for 332 yards with a touchdown pass and two interceptions Week 3 against the Indianapolis Colts.
Fantasy Impact: Warner wasn't as sharp as the previous week as he was hounded by a steady Colts pass rush most of the night.
