Morris isn't a huge back, but runs with some power and has decent speed. Morris also isn't a bad receiver, which can get him on the field a little more.

Dallas Cowboys RB Sammy Morris carried 13 times for just 29 yards in the Week 16 game against the Philadelphia Eagles. He also had four receptions for 10 yards. Morris saw an increased workload with RB Felix Jones (hamstring) dealing with a hamstring injury coming in, but Morris struggled.
Fantasy Impact: Morris didn't have much of a showing in an expanded role, showing he is probably better suited for a backup role at this point of his career.

Dallas Cowboys owner and general manager Jerry Jones said Friday, Dec. 23, that RB Sammy Morris will have a bigger role than expected in Week 16. 'Morris has been a pleasant surprise,' Jones said in a radio interview Friday. 'He's had a good week. Sammy Morris, I think tomorrow he is going to play and he's going to play more than we thought he was going to play thinking back last week. I'm confident he will do the job.'
Fantasy Impact: Morris is worth a look as a flex play for Week 16.
