SUMMARY
Quarterback Rank: #52
Overall: #283

Redman didn't play until the last week of the season, getting a few chances in garbage time with nothing on the line for the Falcons. Redman has been a solid backup for the Falcons the last few seasons, though. He has completed 58 percent or more of his passes in each of his seasons with the Falcons and has 14 touchdowns to eight interceptions during that stretch. At this stage of his career, Redman isn't an every-week starter but a more than capable backup. Redman has starting experience and some past success. He is a former high draft pick, so the talent is there. He is a plus good arm and is fairly accurate.
FANTASY OUTLOOK
Redman has proven to be worth a look if forced into starting action. He certainly isn't going to hurt fantasy teams, but he also won't carry them. There is potential there for Redman, though. He'll take some chances downfield and make some big plays.
The Denver Broncos could show interest in Atlanta Falcons impending free-agent QB Chris Redman, Detroit Lions impending free-agent QB Shaun Hill, Miami Dolphins impending free-agent QB Chad Henne, Philadelphia Eagles impending free-agent QB Vince Young, New York Giants impending free-agent QB David Carr, New York Jets impending free-agent QB Kevin O'Connell and Tampa Bay Buccaneers impending free-agent QB Josh X. Johnson this offseason.

The Associated Press reports Atlanta Falcons QB Chris Redman went 23-for-34 for 303 yards, one touchdown and one interception in Week 14.
Fantasy Impact: Redman actually has performed pretty well in a starting role. He has some value as a No. 2 for fantasy teams as long as he is starting.

NFL.com reports Atlanta Falcons QB Chris Redman will start in Week 13 with QB Matt Ryan (toe) hobbled. QB John Parker Wilson will serve as Redman's backup.
Fantasy Impact: Redman is not a great fantasy play in a starting role, especially against the Eagles this week.
