Gilmore got very little work his first season with the Saints, catching three passes in 14 games. He did score a touchdown on one of those receptions, which was a positive. Gilmore has 15 or fewer receptions every season in the NFL. He is more of a blocker than receiver at the tight end position. Gilmore is considered one of the better blocking tight ends around. He won't do much damage in the passing game, but could get a few chances on play action passes on short-yardage plays.

FANTASY OUTLOOK

Gilmore won't help fantasy teams. He might score a touchdown or two, but the rest of his numbers won't help fantasy owners.
