BUFFALO, N.Y. (AP) - Linebacker Bryan Scott says he's signed a one-year contract to remain with the Buffalo Bills, and forego the chance to become an unrestricted free agent next week.
He's a 10-year veteran, who has spent the past six seasons in Buffalo, where he's filled various roles. Scott has played linebacker and safety and been a regular on special teams.
Scott first announced the signing on his Twitter account Wednesday. He confirmed it to The Associated Press by phone from his offseason home in Atlanta.
Believing the Bills are on the right track, Scott says he would've been disappointed if he didn't get the opportunity to stay in Buffalo.
