ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. (AP) - Buffalo Bills defensive end Mario Williams welcomed his second AFC defensive player of the week honor much like he did his first one this season.
He shrugged Wednesday, calling it ''just another day.''
Williams has been anything but routine this season, in finally playing to the ''Super Mario'' expectations that came with the six-year $100 million contract he signed in March 2012.
His latest league distinction came after he had two sacks and a forced fumble that keyed a 23-21 win over Miami last weekend.
With 10 sacks through seven games, Williams is tied for second in the NFL and is one short of beating his total last year.
Next up for Williams and Buffalo (3-4) is traveling to play the Drew Brees-led New Orleans Saints (5-1) on Sunday.
