Greg Little could surpriseWe have done this the last few seasons and it has been a big hit, so we will be revealing several Top 20 lists before the start of the season. We'll look at sleepers, busts and breakouts to name a few. Our first list is sleepers, guys that might be flying under the radar some that could be big hits for fantasy teams. 1. Kevin Smith, RB, Lions. Smith is looking more and more like the starting back in Detroit this season. He isn't going to be a sleeper for long but his ADP is very low for his projected work right now. Sure, the Lions are pass first but Smith showed his total yardage potential in a starting role last season when given the chance. 2. Greg Little, WR, Browns. Little struggles with drops and isn't a great route runner but he is the most talented receiver for the Browns. He is a big-play threat capable of the big game. He should lead that team in targets at receiver and has plenty of upside for a big second season. 3. David Wilson, RB, Giants. We love the upside of this rookie. He is a big-play threat with top speed. The Giants are going to find ways to get him involved. Plus, Ahmad Bradshaw is usually good to miss some time, so Wilson could find his way into the starting lineup at times. 4. Isaac Redman, RB, Steelers. Redman doesn't seem a great NFL starter but he is going to be the starter in Pittsburgh this season. He might not have many huge games but he will start in a good offense and has obvious touchdown potential. 5. Brandon LaFell, WR, Panthers. LaFell has the starter job in Carolina pretty much sewn up for the coming season. He did start a lot last year and had a few big games but was a little hit or miss. He should be more consistent as he is a year older. LaFell starts in an emerging offense and could surprise for fantasy owners. 6. Greg Olsen, TE, Panthers. Olsen is another Panther we are high on this season. He doesn't have Jeremy Shockey to compete with for playing time at tight end, which should lead to a lot more targets for him. Olsen has a legit shot to be a low-end No. 1 fantasy tight end. 7. Mike Williams, WR, Bucs. Williams was a hot item before last season but his poor year last year has many sour on him. But Williams dedicated himself this offseason to putting a dismal 2011 behind him. He is in much better shape and running routes as good as ever. 8. Jacob Tamme, TE, Broncos. Tamme gets a chance to play with Peyton Manning once again, which should result in very good production. Tamme had his best season as a pro with Manning at the helm. He should be the top tight end in this offense and has a chance for some big showings in 2012. 9. Titus Young, WR, Lions. Young had a strong finish to last season, getting a lot of looks in the red zone. He has a chance to play a big role from day one this year. He is turning heads in camp right now and seems setup for a breakout season. 10. Daniel Thomas, RB, Dolphins. Reggie Bush is the starter in Miami but we aren't sure he is a great fit for the new running scheme. Thomas made plays when he was healthy last season, so we aren't giving up hope on him. He could emerge in the running game before long. Bush will be on the field a lot but is likely to be used in the receiver and change-of-pace role. 11. Austin Collie, WR, Colts. Collie hasn't done a whole lot in recent seasons but showed plenty of potential early in his career. He can be a fantasy factor. We think this is the year he gets it going again, starting and getting a new, promising quarterback throwing him passes. Don't forget about Collie come draft day. 12. Chad Henne, QB, Jaguars. Henne isn't going to be starting in Jacksonville to begin the season but we think there is a good chance he takes over at some point. Blaine Gabbert just doesn't seem the future at the posing for the Jags. Henne has past starting experience and will be playing in an offense that has a lot more weapons offensively at receiver. 13. Jonathan Baldwin, WR, Chiefs. Baldwin is similar to Titus Young, a young, promising receiver waiting to get his chance. Baldwin has plenty of upside in what should be a better Chiefs' offense. And Baldwin could be the No. 1 receiver if Dwayne Bowe continues his holdout. 14. Matt Moore/Ryan Tannehill, QBs, Dolphins. Not sure who will be starting for the Dolphins just yet but you have to like the upside of whoever starts in an offense that should throw often. We like the potential of either guy in a starting role in this offense. They don't have much to work with at receiver but that isn't going to stop the Dolphins from airing it out in this offense. 15. Bernard Scott, RB, Bengals. Scott won't be the starter in Cincinnati but will get more carries this year. The Bengals will try to get the big-play back more involved in the offense. And we aren't sure BenJarvus Green-Ellis excels in a starting role outside of New England, which is another reason to like Scott for this season. 16. Christian Ponder, QB, Vikings. Ponder will start from day one this year and should make some strides his second season in the league. The Vikings lack some weapons at receiver but Ponder had some big games last year with similar talent and his running ability improves his fantasy value. He'll be worth some spot starts. 17. Taiwan Jones, RB, Raiders. Darren McFadden is an injury waiting to happen. If he goes down, Jones likely gets most of the chances at running back. Jones probably doesn't have the size to be an every-down back but has big-play ability and catches the ball well out of the backfield, giving him upside for total yardage. 18. Brian Quick, WR, Rams. Quick is off to a bit of a slow start in camp but we still like his chances to be the No. 1 receiver for the Rams before the season is out. He is a big target with red-zone potential that runs pretty good routes for a young player. 19. Alex Green, RB, Packers. Green is looking better and better these days. He missed all of last season but is in the plans for this year if he can show he is healthy. James Starks isn't doing much in camp, so Green has a chance to seize plenty of work at running back. He is a dual threat that fits the offense well. Green looked like an even better sleeper before Cedric Benson was signed last week. 20. Jerome Simpson, WR, Vikings. Simpson will miss three games because of a suspension but don't forget about him come draft day. He'll start once he is back from suspension and could be the top big-play threat in the passing game.
