Well, the big game is finally here. The season has really flown by, so enjoy the Super Bowl while we still have football left to watch. But don't worry, it seems the offseason moves just as fast as the regular season these days, so we'll have football again before you know it.

The good news for the game this week is there are very few injuries. Both teams are quite healthy coming into the big game. There are a few injuries to report but nothing really of note. Hopefully, this makes for an entertaining game. Here are the latest injuries. . . .

Ahmad Brooks, LB, 49ers. Brooks has a Grade 1 AC sprain in his shoulder. He is expected to be healthy enough to play in the Super Bowl but could be a little limited in the game. He is practicing on a limited basis right now.

VIP Reception & Celebrity Gifting Experience featuring Dennis Rodman Bad Ass Premium Vodka. Guests will be joined ... in Dr Joseph Bryant Jr's Hangs on LockerDome

Jimmy Smith, CB, Ravens. Smith played one half in his return from a groin injury in the Ravens last game. He might be healthy enough to play again in the Super Bowl but shouldn't be counted on to play a huge role in the game. He is iffy to play right now.

Justin Smith, DE, 49ers. Smith will need surgery on his left triceps after the season but continues to play through the injury. He isn't 100 percent but still performing alright and should be just fine for the Super Bowl.

Dennis Pitta, TE, Ravens. Pitta has a thigh injury but is practicing and should be just fine for the Super Bowl. He hasn't been too slowed by the injury and is expected to be about 100 percent for the game despite the injury.

Bernard Pierce, RB, Ravens. Pierce has been slowed by a knee injury the last several weeks but played through the injury and performed pretty well. We expect more of the same this week. Pierce has been limited in practice but will be ready for the game.
