Darrell and I had some discussions about the upcoming season. The championship trophy was in bad shape. The cup on top was peeling and the base was broken. The base under was from the old trophy and didn’t match. The plates weren’t organized properly, there was more space at the bottom, the plates were started on the side and not arranged the way they should have been. The new plates from the last two years didn’t match as they couldn’t get the old ones any more. The last two years were reversed. That being said, we got a new top for the trophy, all new plates that match, and organized the way it should be. There is now room for 19 more champions before we have to worry again. On top of the trophy, I have loaned one of my wrestling belts to the league. Now, this belt is worth over $1000, so if I leave or something happens to this league, it will be coming back to me. For the meantime, it’s for the champ to display along with the trophy.
