As discussed last season, we have made two relatively minor tweaks to our trading rules/procedures: 1) allowed for the trading of future picks one additional year out*, and 2) extended to the trade deadline to include Week 13 games. If there's enough interest we can extend the trade deadline further  (although I'm dead set against teams trading during the playoffs) but we've got plenty of time to discuss that if desired.

* All future first round picks included in trades require an immediate nonrefundable deposit of $100, all future second round picks require an immediate nonrefundable deposit of $50 (to be applied towards future entry fees).

I believe it is set up correctly and consistently with what we had bandied about last season on the message board. Basically, if memory serves me correctly we wanted to go out one additional year for trades involving draft picks. So, at this juncture in previous seasons you could trade a 2024 pick and/or a 2025 pick. With the recent change you could now trade your 2024, 2025 and/or 2026 picks. I guess the biggest concern is the level of prepayment required for trading future 1sts and 2nds. Maybe $100/50 for X+1 1sts and 2nds (like we've done) and $200/100 for X+2 1sts and 2nds?

*** Does anyone have any thoughts on this? ***

Not sure if was in email or a post on previous years message board, talked about having 2 years draft picks always available; seems like we have 3 years available currently (2024, 2025, and 2026); is this accurate for how we want to proceed?

Take it, any future 1st round pick trades would need to include 50% of that years' league fees to be paid?

When might the draft be set up (already talking trade possibilities with the NFL draft concluded and would be simpler to see/use actual picks instead of team/round)?

I’ll get to it tomorrow when I’m at my computer. Sorry for the delay.

Thank you!

Any thoughts on a schedule yet (cut down day, draft day)?  NFL Draft concluded and can't wait :)
