Here is the second round of rule changes for 2024.
Rule #1 Change roster limits on positions. The first number is the current cap the second is the change.
QB 3 - 2, RB 7 - 5, WR/TE 8 - 6, PK 2 - 2, DEF 2 - 2.
Rule #2 Add a Flex position (ONLY using RB's, WR's and TE)
-Meaning your starting lineup must have 9 players.
Rule #3 Reduce the roster sizes from 15 to 14 but increasing the IR slot from 1 to 2.
This would change the draft to 12 rounds from 13 and any trade involving a
RD13 pick would default to RD12.
Remember I stated we have 2 weeks of byes with six teams so draft wisely.
Rule #4 Remove the game tie breaker, game remains a tie and if pot is involved it's split.
No need for selecting tie breakers from the bench.
A new bylaw to vote on was suggested by JR when a league expands we do it like the NHL.
After everyone has selected their 2 keepers and the commissioner has released all other players
from the rosters then the expansion teams would select 2 players in the order of 1-2-2-1.
No ROOKIES would be allowed for pickup and the commissioner would add them. This should be
completed 3 or 4 days ahead of the draft so all can prepare. This would eliminate all problems on draft night.
SO please send me your votes on rules 1-4 and the new bylaw on expansion if ever needed again.

Hi everyone I hope the NFL DRAFT last month got your juices flowing.
I have purchased the software already to get the 10% discount.
I will be sending out some rule changes to be voted on very soon, plus a
change in the by laws for league expansion if ever needed again.
The rule changes that passed at the end of the season are:
1) remove the -1 point for a PAT miss
2) remove the ability to trade draft picks in the future but not canceling any trades done from 2023.
The rule that did NOT pass for 2024 was removing the keepers.
Keep and eye out for the voting request either later today or tomorrow.
Remember not voting means a no change vote to the rule.

A couple of note worthy scheduling weeks by the NFL that will challenge all of us.
Last year week 14 (the last week before playoffs) the league had 2 teams on bye.
In 2024 week 14 will have 6 teams on bye as well as week 12 will also have 6 on bye.
