If our system can be programed as such:
Teams can apply for a waiver on Tuesdays only. On Wednesday, our system awards the waiver. If more than 1 team applys for a player, the team with the worst record is awarded the player.
Records would be based on points, not standings.

I agree with the Frogs that our waiver process needs to be revisited, however, I doubt increasing the fee with deter anyone. I know some owners are in other fantasy leagues and might have insight to a possible solution.

Another way to address the issue would go back to when league started. You only have a set number of waivers and no more. Waivers were tradeable but limited in number.

We are in a system in which the first owner that sees a player that becomes available picks him up. Sometimes regardless of need because it is only $5 to pick them up. By upping the cost, perhaps they wont pick up the player and some team that truly needs help can then have oppurtunity to pick them up.

Frogs, what are you trying to accomplish with your proposal ?

propasal: We raise waviers to $20. As it stands now no one thinks twice about a $5 waiver. By raising the amount they would think twice about pick up. Plus in these inflationary times it only makes sense.

Yes Tom. Pup list is same as IR. Rule #1. You can have 2 players on the IR/PUP designation.

If a player is placed on PUP during training camp, can we place him on IR and pick up another player ?
