I can't make the draft tomorrow, but I'll be driving through the north metro on May 6.
Did Wink Tits ever return the trophy to someone local so I can put that back on my mantle where it belongs???
Whomever is going to the draft at BWW in Champlin on Thursday, if you can let me know by tomorrow night if you are in, that would be great. I plan on being there by 6ish and I will try to hold spots for everyone.

FYI: If anyone is interested in watching the NFL Draft this year, Jimmer and I will be at the BWW in Champlin.
I will be there as well.

And I'm out. I am coaching Adaptive Softball (think Special Olympics) and we now have a game that night. Have fun boys!

1st Round after current trades:
Does anybody have a first round order with the picks traded to post on here as we get closer to draft. I think old messages were archived so just curious on who has what pick and how many firsties, etc.
Tentative for draft but if you tell me you might make any IDP-like decisions, I'll be there to help save the league.

I too will be there. And in 2024 my resolution was to be a man of my word!

Also, don't need to draft 20. I think there have been years when guys hit $100 before they had a full roster so they were done drafting.
PMP
Correct, Kyle!
This new roster format gets rid of the IR shenanigans, and essentially takes away 2 additional IR spots that were previously available. This should in theory allow for a little more to be had in the FA pool.
So just to be clear....we are drafting three extra roster spots at the draft but using the same salary cap?
To a conversation early (I really don't think this should need a poll Marn, just dictate it). Please confirm we will walk away from draft with 20 man rosters not 17. Pretty obvious how I'd vote on a poll..
My favorites are the ones that login and still don't vote.

2 years away from being 2 years away. 2025 it is. Lock it in your calendars now.

I for sure can't this year. 2025!

Never Go Full Retard wrote:You are correct. You did not trade away any salary cap. However, you are eating $6 of Michael Pittman's salary. It is easier to take that $6 off of your cap than to add it to a random player. If I add it to a random player, I need to keep track of that player's salary as well and then possibly switch it around if said player is traded, or other teams don't know that players real salary. This way is easier.
Aight. Now I remember, but still some bullshit! Should have made that $6 conditional on performance. Pittman was money last year!

Whether it's 17 players or 20 (as it looks now), we should be leaving the draft with full rosters. Makes no sense to leave a draft with 17 players and 20 player rosters.
Please confirm.
I would agree with you Jimbo but that would be the second poll.

I posted a poll of the three options so far. Once we decide on roster number we can decide if we are doing it via draft, or as someone suggested via FA (if people vote for more than 17).
Agree with T-Mac. 17 to 20 roster spots make a pretty big difference.
I will do some final polls to get all rules situated over the next few days.
I'll be your huckleberry on salary relief as well. So you have options.
When are we formalizing the roster size? sounded like 20 followed by 17 were most common (I didn't actually look back). I'd say we should simply put a poll on that so all decisions can have context.
CONFIRMED!
Who else needs some cap space? Still got some wiggle room for any 2024 contenders!
Marn,
Trade between Jimbo and I. I get $20 cap help this coming season only.
Thanks,
