I can't make the draft tomorrow, but I'll be driving through the north metro on May 6.

Did Wink Tits ever return the trophy to someone local so I can put that back on my mantle where it belongs???

Whomever is going to the draft at BWW in Champlin on Thursday, if you can let me know by tomorrow night if you are in, that would be great. I plan on being there by 6ish and I will try to hold spots for everyone.

Correct, Kyle!

This new roster format gets rid of the IR shenanigans, and essentially takes away 2 additional IR spots that were previously available. This should in theory allow for a little more to be had in the FA pool.

To a conversation early (I really don't think this should need a poll Marn, just dictate it). Please confirm we will walk away from draft with 20 man rosters not 17.  Pretty obvious how I'd vote on a poll..

You are correct. You did not trade away any salary cap. However, you are eating $6 of Michael Pittman's salary. It is easier to take that $6 off of your cap than to add it to a random player. If I add it to a random player, I need to keep track of that player's salary as well and then possibly switch it around if said player is traded, or other teams don't know that players real salary. This way is easier.

I posted a poll of the three options so far. Once we decide on roster number we can decide if we are doing it via draft, or as someone suggested via FA (if people vote for more than 17).

Agree with T-Mac. 17 to 20 roster spots make a pretty big difference.

I will do some final polls to get all rules situated over the next few days.

I'll be your huckleberry on salary relief as well. So you have options.

When are we formalizing the roster size?  sounded like 20 followed by 17 were most common (I didn't actually look back).  I'd say we should simply put a poll on that so all decisions can have context.
