Some of Rattler's strengths are that he has a solid pocket presence and excellent footwork. Rattler will compete for a chance to back up starter Derek Carr, but the rookie QB is mainly an option in dynasty leagues heading into 2024 fantasy drafts.

However, he was benched at Oklahoma and eventually replaced, leading to his exit to South Carolina. He never put up the gaudy numbers many expected (he posted a 3,186/18/9 line last season) but has always had the physical traits to make scout salivate. He's going to be a very interesting draft pick as he'll fall into the middle rounds and likely be scooped up by a team looking for a project at the position. If his attitude and mental toughness are in the right spot, Rattler could eventually emerge. At this point, he's a bit of a "wait and see" kind of prospect.
