I. TEAM SETUP
a. All teams will draft 14 players, this includes a defense.
b. Each team will start 7 players and one defense each week.
c. Each team can draft whatever compliment of different positions they would like.
d. Each team will start 1-QB, 2-RB’s, 3-WR’s, 1-Kicker, and 1-DEF.
1. Tight ends will be considered as WR’s.
II. DRAFT
a. Each team must have a representative to draft his team on draft day.
1. No team can draft for another team.
2. Any team not represented at the draft will must make his selections from the
remaining players in the undrafted (free agent) pool.
b. Divisions and drafting positions will be given in advance of the actual draft. This
will preferably be at the Winners Crawfish Boil.
1. Divisions will be picked by using a deck of cards. Whichever team pulls the
Ace, then he will be the 1st team of the 1st div. The team that pulls the 2 card
will be the 2nd team in the 2nd div, and so on.
2. Draft order will be chosen for rounds 1. The team will chose
opposite his draft position in the even rounds. For example; The team that
chooses 1st in the 1st round will choose last in the 2nd round.
c. Time limit.
1. Teams will be given 2 minutes to draft players in the first two rounds
and 1 minute per round for the remaining 12 rounds.
2. If team does not draft in their given time, then they will be skipped. After the
next team drafts we will come back to the team that was skipped.
III. SCORING SYSTEM
a. We will use a variation of the basic scoring method as described in “Cliff
Charpentiers Fantasy Football Digest”

If a Defense holds an opponent to scores listed below they receive the corresponding points:
Opponent scores 19 to 10 Defense = 3 Pts
Opponent scores 9 to 1 Defense = 6 Pts
Opponent scores 0. Defense = 10 Pts
b. Block punts for TD’s will count as a defensive score. The punt return for a touch-
down will count as a defensive score.
c. Kickoff and kick receiving teams are counted as Def / Special Team scores.
d. The NFL.com will be our main source (along with the honor system) for
handling diputes in the way points are scored.
e. Commissioner will handle all disputes that arise. The commissioner will have
final say in all disputes. This will be without question.
IV. ROSTER CHANGES AND TRANSACTIONS
a. Any team can make up to 3 drop and adds each week (unlimited starting in 2015). This includes trades.
b. Teams can only trade with each other twice during the year. These teams can
trade more than two players, but can trade in only two different weeks with the
same franchise.
c. Players dropped are considered “waived”. A player that is dropped must clear
waivers before being picked up by another team.
1. A player clears waivers by waiting 3 days to be picked up by another team.
This will give all teams a chance to see that he is on waivers and give each
team a fair chance to pick up that player.
d. All trades must involve an even number of players.
e. All transactions and lineup changes will be made on the Real Time Sports website (www.rtsports.com).
1. Transactions will begin on Tuesday night at 9:00pm central time.
2. Maximum of 3 transactions per team on that night. ( Unlimited for the week after Tuesday starting 2015)
3. For games played on Thursday, lineups and transactions must be made before game time.
V. LINEUPS
a. All lineups will be entered on the Real Time Sports website (www.rtsports.com).
b. Lineups may be entered from 7:00am central time on Tuesday until 1 hour before the first game
c. If a team fails to turn in his lineup by the designated day and time, then that teams
lineup will be carried over from the previous week.
d. Each team must call-in one reserve player to break ties.
VI. SCORING POINTS
a. Points will be tabulated after each weeks games.
b. Each team will be given a schedule of each weeks opponent. Each team will play
the teams in his division twice a year.
c. The team with the most points in each match up will win the game.
1. In case of a tie, each team will have called in a reserve player. The reserve
player with the most points will give his team the win.
2. If the reserve player does not break the tie, then the game will end in a tie.
d. Teams will accumulate records based on their wins and losses throughout
the year.
VII. PLAYOFFS
a. The team with the best record in each of the three divisions will go to the
playoffs.
b. Rules for breaking ties in division play.
1. Best Win - Loss record.
2. Most points scored during the regular season.
3. Head to Head competion (most points vs. team tied with).
4.Best Conference Record
5.Most points allowed
(The team that allowed more points wins the tiebreaker. This is
an indication of which team played a tougher schedule.)
6. Coin flip..
c. The team with the most total points that does not win their division will earn the
fourth playoff spot (wildcard).
d. After teams make the playoffs, they will be seeded 1-4. The team with the most
points in the playoffs will be seeded #1. The team with the 2nd most points will
be seeded #2, and so on. Once seeded, #1 seed will play the #4 seed and the
#2 seed will play the #3 seeded team.
e. Winners of each playoff game will play for 1st place and the Jeff Cup. The
team that loses in the first playoff game will play for 3rd place.
f. Tie-breaker for individual games in the play-offs are decided by the reserve tie breaker.
g. If reserve tie-breakers tie, the commissioner will flip a coin.
VIII. FINES
a. The commissioner has the authority to fine any team for any violation of any of
rules of the FFL. The commissioner can also fine any of the franchises for any
conduct he feels is bad for the league. When the commissioner fines a team,
it cannot be questioned by the owners.
b. Fines of $5 will be given for any team that starts a player that has a bye week.
No fine will be given for a defense started during its bye week.
c. The lowest scoring team each week will be fined $15. This money will be
given to the Jeff Cup winner to have the next seasons crawfish boil.
d. Fine of $10 will be given for teams that make more than 3 transactions in a given week.
IX. DISTRIBUTION OF FUNDS
1st place will recieve each weeks low score fines to pay for the next seasons
crawfish boil. The remainder of the monies will be split as follows:
1st place........................................50% of pot
2nd place.......................................25% of pot
3rd place........................................15% of pot
4th place.........................................10% of pot
X. PRO BOWL
Week 17 will be designated as the "Pro Bowl". Each division winner will be responsible for submitting their division's Pro Bowl team. Each Pro Bowl Team will consist of the normal starting line ups and tie breakers. Normal scoring will apply. Any player on any roster in a division is eligible for that division's starting line up. All teams in the division scoring the lowest points during "Pro Bowl" week will be responsible for supplying beer and soft drinks at the Champions Crawfish Boil.
