THE BIBLE

2024

The “Bible” is the law for Utopia FFL for the current year. The Bible will be revised if needed after the Banquet
where any rule changes will be
discussed. Once the new years’ Bible is complete, no rule changes will take place without a 100% concurrence. At the
Banquet rules will be changed
based on a majority vote of owners present and owners that could not be present (via e-mail to commissioner)

LEAGUE SETUP

*This league will have one commissioner.

*This league will be an auction, re-draft league, with 0-3 keepers.

*The league will consist of 12 teams; 2 divisions (names determined by the Super Bowl Champ (SBC) and Super Bowl runner up (SBRU) from previous year, completed after the draft.

Divisions will be formatted with the follow criteria based on the previous years final standings: the SB Champ & SB Runner up will pick teams for their division with the 1st pick to the runner up and then 2 to the Champ and so on until all teams are drafted.

*In order to settle any disputes, a dispute panel will be utilized whenever necessary.

a) The Dispute panel will consist of 3 Owners : The Commish and the two point leaders at the time of the incident. If any of the three are involved in the dispute, it would be the others not involved and the remaining filled with the top total point leaders not involved in the dispute, until there are a total of 3 on the panel. Their decision will be final.

* RTSports will be used to run the league and they will decide a player position.

if a game is cancelled for any reason, the players started will get what they have at the time the game is cancelled.

1. The NFL must list him on the IR or Out due to injury.

2.Once an owner places a player on IR, he can pick up in the ww process.

3.Once the players designation is changed, he must be placed back on the active roster or dropped. The roster can never go over 19.

4. If a player is out but not listed as such in RTS, an owner can ask the Commissioner to put them on IR. If the commish wants to for his team he will let an owner, tbd at the draft, know.

DRAFT

*The draft will be an auction draft of 19 rounds on the Sunday evening (6pm)prior to Labor Day weekend.

*Subs will be allowed, no by phone drafts, if an owner can’t make the draft, they must send a person to conduct the draft for them.

*Each team is responsible for drafting a total of 19, outlined in “Rosters”

*Owners will select players in reverse order of the previous years’ finish of “Total Points” (12-1) and back (1-12). Owners must sit in draft order.

*Once an owner names a player, on their turn, that player will be auctioned off and become a member of the team with the highest monetary bid as noted by the auctioneer. This will continue until all teams rosters are complete.

*All players must be bought for a minimum of $1. No Cent (.01) bids. $200 draft amount to start.
* All players not drafted become the ww pool.

* No college players can be drafted.

KEEPERS

*Each team owner can keep 0-3 players from the previous years’ roster under the following rules:

1. A player designated as a keeper will count as a draft pick and cost $10 more than the previous year's cost and an additional $5 each following year that the player is kept.  ie: A team wants to
keep a player he drafted for $8 the previous year, it would cost him $18 to keep him the 2nd year and then $23, $28, etc. for subsequent years.

2. If a player was not drafted (Waiver wire(ww) acquisition) he can be kept the following year for $10 and then subsequent years as listed in 2. The ww pick must also be picked up prior to the trade deadline (wk 14).

3.Keepers can be traded and retain their draft cost.

4. Keepers must be announced to the Commissioner By 1000 draft day.

DEADLINES

*All money owed for the season must be paid in full prior to the draft.

*Each owner must submit their lineups prior to the game time of each player. If a lineup is not submitted, the team will receive a “0” point total for that week.
