LEAGUE STRUCTURE - Our league is comprised of 12 teams; three divisions of four teams.
DRAFT - Our draft consists of 20 rounds, the draft is a snake draft that with alternate picks allows NO teams to pick twice in a row.
IR (Injured Reserve) - Players may be placed on the IR if, and only if, they are officially designated by RT Sports,
a player can be put on the I/R if he has a "D" for doubtful or an "O" for out, "X" or next to his name.
IR that is ineligible at the start of his NFL game for that week, said team's lineup will be rendered illegal and they
will forfeit the points scored by that players position. If there are more than one player playing that position on the illegal roster all the points for that position will be forfeited.
PLAYOFFS - We adhere to a 6-team bracket playoff, 3 Division Winners and three Wild Card teams. The playoffs begin in
NFL week 15 and are three weeks in duration, ending after week 17 of the NFL season. The team with the best overall record being the number one seed, the second best being the
number two seed, and the third best being the number three seed. The 4th best being the 4th seed and the 5th best being the 5th seed and the 6th being the 6th seed respectively. The number
one and the number two seed teams receive a first round bye. The number three seed plays the number six seed and the
four seed plays the five seed. If the #3 seed wins between 3/6 match the #3 seed will move on to play the #2 seed. If the #6 seed wins between the 3/6 match, the #6 seed will play the #1 seed. Winner
of the four/five seed match will play the number #2 seed in round two is #6 seed wins above. The winners of the round two matchups will
play each other in round three for the championship. Any team or teams that have not paid their fees to the league, will not participate in the playoffs. The next team in line that has paid its fees, will be in the playoffs.
PLAYOFF PAYOUTS - 1st place - $425.00, 2nd place -$300.00, 3rd place - $250.00, 4th place - $225.00, 5th place - $175.00, 6th place $125.00. Total pot is equal to, league fees, and minus RT Sports fees and draft board supplies. (Payouts will be adjusted should we have less than 12 team owners).
ROSTERS - Rosters are comprised of 20 active players. In addition, a team can have a maximum of 8 players on IR at any given time. All players, injured or not, MUST be removed from the IR by the Vashon 12 Leagues draft day, to start the new season.
Rosters consist of 8 positional players which includes (1) Flex player. The player position numbers are as follows.
QB - 1
RB - 2
WR - 2
TE - 1
K - 1
The FLEX player then can be added to RB position or the WR position or the TE position.
Defense consist of a total of 6 players DL, LB and DB. Of the 6 positions you must have (1) DL, (1) LB and (1) DB in your line up. The other 3 can be added to any of the positions.
TIEBREAKERS - Each team must choose only one tiebreaker per week and it must be a non-starter. If a tiebreaker is not
chosen, or more than one is chosen, the team will forfeit it's tiebreaker.
TRADE DEADLINE - The trade deadline is observed at the start of the NFL Week 12 games, meaning all trades must be
accepted and approved by the commissioner BEFORE the start of the first game of NFL week 12.
TRADES - Trades can be proposed and accepted by owners, but will not be effective until approved by the league commissioner. Trades are free.
ENTRY FEE - $125.00
OWING MONEY TO THE LEAGUE - All money owed to the league will be paid in full before week 5 games.
FREE AGENT PICK UPS - Unlimited free agent pick ups starting in week #1. There is a Waiver Wire period to start each week. Waiver Wire claims must be submitted before 8:00 pm (PST) Wednesday. Wavier Wire claims go on a basis of wins and loses. You can check the order for the week under wavier wire. The order each week is set by the RT Sports Site. After Wavier Wire claims are distributed, open free pick ups can be made starting at 12:01am (PST) Thursday. Changes to your line end at game time. Once RT Sports has games in progress no changes can be made for those games, this includes any help by the commissioner.
