CONSTITUTION

KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE PRIZE

A. Ownership Requirements and Benefits:

1. The $300 league fee is due on draft day. PLEASE BE PREPARED AND BRING YOUR FEE TO THE DRAFT. THE FEE IS REQUIRED IN ORDER TO PARTICIPATE AND THEREFORE EXPECTED WHEN YOU ARRIVE ON DRAFT DAY. THE FEE IS JUST AS IMPORTANT AS YOU BEING THERE ON TIME TO PARTICIPATE IN THE DRAFT AND SELECT YOUR TEAM.........PLEASE NO EXCEPTIONS! There are no additional fees for trades, moves, transactions, etc. (Cash, Pay Pal, Cash App, & Venmo are all accepted)

2. All league fees collected will be paid out, less website, draft day expenses, and auctioneer expenses. ($3300 to be paid out)

B. Payouts & Scheduling:

  1. Our League will be composed of 12 teams - No Divisions. Each team will play 11 games against a different league member until Week 12. The last three weeks each team plays another team, generated by the website, for a second time.......giving us a total of 14 weeks of competition before the Playoffs. After Week 14 the top team receives $500, 2nd - $300, 3rd - $200, 4th - $100. Top two receive a Bye in Week 15. The teams finishing 3rd - 6th will have match-ups in Week 15. 3rd seeded team plays the 6th seed and the 4th seeded team plays the 5th seed. The two winning teams from Week 15 will then be matched against the top two seeded teams in Week 16 with the lowest seed matched against the top seed. Week 17 will be for the Championship and feature the 2 winners from Week 16.........Week 17 will also feature the two losing teams from Week 16 playing for 3rd place. Standings are first determined by overall record then  1) total points 2) head to head. Final SUPER BOWL CHAMPION - $1,000  RUNNER-UP - $500  3RD - $200
  2. The six teams finishing the season in 7th - 12th place will also compete. (7th and 8th seeds receive a Week 15 Bye)  9 vs.12 and 10th vs.11 in Week 15 - this tournament will follow the same format as the Super Bowl Championship ($50 to the overall winner of this tournament (Toilet Bowl)
  3. The Team accumulating the highest total points through Week 14 receives $150, 2nd - $50

 

     4. Weeks 15-17 HIGH POINT TOTAL will pay $100

         Week 18 HIGH POINT TOTAL will pay $50

Lastly, the team with the single highest game score of any week during the year will receive a payout of $100!

*** We will also have a Survivor and NFL Pickem Competition (Optional) Those wishing to participate, will pay an additional $20 at the draft. Payout to the season winner will be determined by the amount of participants.

5. League Officials:

League Commissioner and Treasurer is Randy Savage. The remaining 11 owners (one owner per team) will form the Competition Committee. The Competition Committee has the power to veto trades with a total of 6 objections. Additionally, the League Commissioner may ask for rulings from the Competition Committee on issues that occur during the year. 6 votes will be required to pass or deny any ruling.

B. Roster Requirements

1. Each team’s roster is limited to 16 players. Each team’s starting roster will consist of 1 QB, 1 RB, 3 WRs, 1 Flex (either RB or WR), 1 – K and 1 – Team Defense. Note, there is no TE roster requirement (TEs and WRs may be used interchangeably). 

2. Players may be activated (placed in the starting line-up) up to 5 minutes prior to the scheduled kick off time of their respective game. If a player is in an active (starting) spot, and his game begins, he’s locked in. Likewise, players can not be activated, once his game begins. BE CAREFUL, don't wait until the very last minute to set your line-ups. If you have trouble setting your line-up, call me and I'll manually make the move. If I don't answer, leave a message of exactly what move you need to make. Just make sure it's before that player's game has started.

C. Draft (Auction Style):

1. Our Draft is always set for Sunday afternoon of Labor Day Weekend - Start Time is 1:30 pm at All American Driving School in south Garland. Each owner will have a $300 cap available for acquiring players through an auction. Team owners can spend less than $300 but must draft 16 players. The cap is for auction purposes only (i.e. you don’t get any cash back if you don’t spend your $300). You must bid at least 1 dollar for each player.

2. Bidding is done in increments of $1, meaning there will be no fraction of dollar bidding.

3. Once bidding has begun for a player, any owner who still has open roster spots may bid on the player. Once the bidding slows, an auctioneer will say, “going once, going twice, gone”. If nobody else makes a higher bid by the time the auctioneer says gone, the player goes to the highest bidder.

4. Once a team owner fills his 16 roster spots, he is out of the auction and may not nominate players for auction or make any further bids.   

D. Waiver Wire Acquisitions

1. Add/Drops will be conducted every Wednesday and Saturday once the season officially starts. The first Waiver Wire will be on Saturday, September 9th. Player acquisitions will be done through a blind bidding process and must be submitted prior to the 9:00 p.m. deadline. Highest bidding team is awarded the player.  The tie-breaker goes to whoever entered their bid first.

2. Each team will have $300 with which to use throughout the season for placing bids for acquisition of players. $0 is acceptable on any bid throughout the year.

E. Trades

1. Trades may be conducted at anytime as long as players/defenses involved have not yet played for the week of the proposal. It's best to notify the Commissioner when a trade has been agreed to, where a more timely transaction can be completed and finalized.

2. Once a trade has been agreed to, Commissioner will review and if acceptable, announce the trade to the League (Email). Unless the trade is challenged by a League member, it will be accepted and transacted.

3. The last day to accept a trade is Monday, November 20th by 6:30 p.m.

· Wednesday and Saturday 8:59 pm Central: Free agent bids must be entered/submitted.

· 5 minutes until game time – Starting rosters can be adjusted at any time before that specific fantasy player’s game begins.
