2023 Weekend Warrior Fantasy Football League
Since 1990
Year 34

 1. Overview: Weekend Warrior Fantasy Football will consist of 2 divisions, each composed of 12 teams. The WWFF regular season will extend from NFL Week 1 through NFL Week 12. Each division will hold the Championship Game in NFL Week 13. The entry fee for each team is $400.

2. Draft: Each league will be composed of 12 teams, and each draft will last for 22 rounds, with each team selecting a player in each round in a serpentine fashion (team 1 through team 12, team 12 through team 1, team 1 through team 12, etc.). There are no rules governing the number of players to be drafted at each position. It is up to the skill and draft strategy of each team owner to decide.

a. Time limit per pick: Each participant will have one minute and forty-five seconds to make a player selection. Please try to pick in a timely fashion.

b. trading of draft picks: No trading is allowed.

3. Roster Requirements: Maximum of 22 players.

4. Lineups Requirements:

Starting lineups will consist of
1 QB
2 RB
2 WR
1 TE
2 Flex player (a RB or WR, or TE)
1 PK
1 Team Defense/Special team

a.League Management Web Address: You can access your league via the internet by going to rtsports.com

b.Lineup Submission: All lineups may be submitted on the league website and are due by game time for each player. Players, whose game has started, may not be slotted into a team's starting lineup.

5. Scoring: An individual offensive player on any active WWFF starting roster will be credited points for scoring in the following manner unless otherwise noted:

a. Passing:
Yards passing divided by 20 (e.g. 215 passing yards = 10.75 fantasy points).
4 points for every passing TD.
Minus two points (-2) for every interception thrown.
2 points for every 2-point conversion.

b. Rushing:
Yards rushing divided by 10 (e.g. 89 rushing yards = 8.9 fantasy points).
6 points for every rushing TD.
2 points for every 2-point conversion.

c. Receiving:
Yards receiving divided by 10 (e.g. 112 receiving yards = 11.2 fantasy points)
6 points for every receiving TD.
1 point for every catch.
2 points for every 2-point conversion.

d. All Other TDs:
6 points for any TD scored by recovered or returned fumbles, laterals, or any other means by which a skill position player (QB, RB, WR, TE, or K) is awarded an individual TD. No rushing or receiving yardage is awarded for a TD returned on a fumble.

Placekicking:

3 points for every FG plus .1 points for every yard over 30; ex: 35 yd FG = 3.5 pts

f. Team Scoring (Defense/Special Teams):

3 points for allowing 300 - 324 yards
2 points for allowing 325 - 349 yards
1 point for allowing 350 - 374 yards
-2 points for allowing 400 yards or more

6. Point Calculations: Team scoring will be carried out to the hundredth (e.g. a team may score 94.75 points).

7. Free Agents: Any player who is not on a team roster within your league is considered a free agent for that league.

8. Free Agent Acquisitions: The free agent system will be a “blind bidding” process. Each team will start with 1,000 free agent “dollars” for the season, and will be permitted to bid for free agents on a weekly basis. No team will be informed of any other team’s free agent bids until after the winning bids have been awarded. The team with the highest bid on any given player will be awarded that player. The amount of the winning bid will be deducted from the winning team’s free agent dollars. For each winning bid, the winning team must drop a player to make roster room for the free agent acquisition. If a team’s free agent dollars go to zero, that team will no longer be allowed to bid for the rest of the season. No bid will be accepted that is larger than a team's free agent dollars.   All bids must be in increments of dollars (no cents).

9. Bidding Time Frame: The bidding process starts after the completion of Week 1 and ends prior to the Sunday of  Week 13. Bids will be accepted on the league website from Tuesday 6 am CT until Wednesday 8 pm CT. There is a blind bidding period that starts after the first is complete and goes until Saturday 8 pm CT. Rosters will be updated after each blind period is complete. Players who are dropped on Wednesday may not be bid upon until the following week. Players who have already played a game that week cannot be dropped until the next week. There will be no free agent pickups after the completion of the WWFF Division Championships.

10. Conditional Bids: Conditional bids can also be offered. In the event you may lose out on a player, you can place a conditional bid(s) for other players during the bidding time frame. The first conditional bid will become relevant only if you lose out on the first bid. Subsequent conditional bids will become relevant only if the previous conditional bid fails. Bids do not require conditional bids. Bids may have several sequential conditional bids, but may not include bidding on the same player more than once.

11. Number of Bid Limits: There is no limit to the number of bids each week in which bids are permitted.

12. Tied Bids: If there is a tie, the team that receives the player is the team that is lowest in the standings.

13. Available Players: Teams may acquire players not on any roster within their league, with one exception.

14. Trades between managers: To minimize the possibility of collusion, there will be no trading allowed.

15. Division Structure: Each team in a division will play all other teams in that league once. That 11-game schedule plus one game vs. the league average will constitute the WWFF regular season.

a. Divisional Championship Game: Week 13 of the NFL season will determine each division champion by means of a single Championship Game. The two participants in the Championship game will be 1) the team with the best record vs. 2) the remaining team with the highest point total.
The tiebreakers for the best record in each league after 12 games are:
1. Total points during the regular season
2. Head-to-head won/lost record
3. Total quarterback points (starting QBs week 1 through week 12)
4. Total points in weeks 10 & 11
5. Coin toss

If there is a tie for the highest point leader in a given league, the aforementioned tiebreakers 2- 5 will be used.

If there is a tie in a Championship Game the tiebreakers are:
1. Total points during the regular season
2. Head-to-head in the regular season
3. Regular season won/lost record (weeks 1-12)
4. Quarterback points (starting in Championship Game)
5. Total points in weeks 11 & 12
6. Coin toss

b. Third Place Game:  Week 13 of the NFL season will determine each division’s third-place money winner by means of a single Third Place Game. The two participants in the Third Place Game will be 1) the remaining team with the best record that is not in Championship Game vs.2) the team with the highest point total that is not in the Championship Game . Total points accumulated weeks 1-12 is the tiebreaker.

The tiebreakers for the best record in each league after 12 games are:
1. Total points
2. Head-to-head won/lost record
3. Total quarterback points (starting QBs week 1 through week 12)
4. Total points in weeks 11 & 12
5. Coin toss

If there is a tie for the highest point leader in a given league, the aforementioned tiebreakers 2- 5 will be used.

If there is a tie in a Third Place Game the tiebreaker is:
1. Total points during the regular season
2. Head-to-head in the regular season
3. Regular season won/lost record (weeks 1-12)
4. Quarterback points
5. Total points in weeks 11 & 12
6. Coin toss

16. Weekend Warrior Fantasy Football Playoff Berths: Both Division Champions, the 2nd and 3rd place teams qualify for the Championship Bracket. Additionally, there will be 4 wild card teams that will qualify. These 4 teams will be chosen from the remaining teams regardless of division and will be based on total points scored, weeks 1-13. ALL TEAMS SHOULD SUBMIT A LINEUP IN WEEK 13 REGARDLESS OF THEY ARE IN A PLAYOFF GAME OR NOT. THESE POINTS WILL GO TOWARD DETERMINING THE WILDCARD TEAMS. Therefore, there will be a total of 10 teams in the Championship Bracket.
The tiebreakers for determining wild card berths are:

1. Regular season win/loss record
2. Total points in weeks 11 & 12
3. Coin toss

17. Weekend Warrior Fantasy Football Playoff Format: Each of the 10 playoff teams will be seeded based on their total fantasy points for the regular season. Furthermore, each team will begin the playoffs with their one-game average point total from the regular season. This gives an advantage to the teams that performed best in the regular season. The 2021 Weekend Warrior Fantasy Football playoffs will extend four weeks, from NFL Week 14 through NFL Week 17. At the end of the first playoff week (week 14) the team with the highest point total in the Toilet Bowl will join the championship bracket. Prize winners will be awarded on the basis of total points scored from Week 14 through Week 17, plus their one-game average point total from the regular season. The team with the most total points will be crowned the 2023 Weekend Warrior Fantasy Football Champion.

The tiebreakers for (playoff) prize finalists are:

1. Total points for the regular season only
2. Regular season won/lost record
3. Total points for the playoffs in Week 17 only
4. Total points for the playoffs in Week 16 only
5. Coin toss

18. Toilet Bowl: The remaining 14 teams will compete in the Toilet Bowl.

The Consolation Playoffs will run from week 14 through week 17 and will use the exact system and tie-breakers that the Championship Playoffs use. At the end of the first playoff week (week 14) the team with the highest point total in the Toilet Bowl will join the Championship Bracket.

19. Miscellaneous Information: All “total points” means total starting lineup points
