By-Laws

*If you have any questions or need ANY help please always let the commish know ASAP that's what I'm here for.
*Please note that only teams in the playoffs will be able to to pick players up in F/A after week 13.
*
*draft 1-10 (future drafts to be voted on)  Top 4 picks determined by NBA style lotto done at the league meeting
*Only one owner per team and all owners must be approved by the commish. No advisors at the draft.                                                          *Draft is invite only (by commish or host)
*Tie breakers are one on offence and one on defence (players not already in your starting line up- if you don't start
the right format you will get 0 and lose)
*If a top 3 round draft pick gets traded from next years draft you will have to pay some of next years league dues
before the trade goes into effect 1st $300 2nd $200 and for a 3rd $100.
*Pay outs are as follows:
Division winners at the end of the regular season (2) gets $350 (first rd bye) Week 14 the two div winners play for $100 on the bye week
Wild card winners (2) gets 10% $200 (20% total) (win the first rd of playoffs)
Beastie Bowl winner (NVFL Super Bowl) 40% $800(1)

$50 to the weekly high team score (split even in case of tie)(Tie breakers do not count towards this total) $800 in total payouts.
*No trades after the season until EVERYONE in the trade has paid for the up coming season. (ITS ONLY FAIR)
*Score adjustments can be made any time up to kickoff if this effects waiver wire too bad. This is what RTsports has said. 

*Players put on IR before the start of week 7 will be protected from free agency along with all rookies
*TWO DATES ARE MANDITORY TO STAY IN THE LEAGUE Draft day and League meeting day (shortly following the season)
*Things to expect at the meeting: Pay outs for all winners, collection of league dues, vote on any upcoming changes
(These issues need to be presented to the commish in writing 3 days prior to the meeting min. or they may not be
brought up for a vote) set dates for the upcoming season, finaly.
*Trade deadline is before the start of week 10 games (All trades require commish approval)
*Lineups can be set up to kick off time (When the site cuts you off)
*If a trade is initiated and accepted and approved by the comish (on the site) it is final as far as the commish is
concerned. You must write 'APPROVED' or 'DECLINED' in the notes or both post on the site within 24 hours or it will be declined. 
*When doing the waiver wire it is up to you to do it correctly, please check your work, if you mess up and cut someone
they are cut and a F/A
*Rosters are 45 men, which will be cut down weeks before the NVFL draft to 30 and a 15 rd draft to follow

*League dues are $420 ($200 goes to the pot (not that kind), $10 goes to the web site, $10 goes to the draft, $80 goes to the weekly pimp $5 a week 1-16)
*If starting a coach that isn't at the game (either on a bye or not coaching) you will be docked -5 as if you lost and
not get a 0)

*The commissioner also can use a vote at his discretion.

 

*tie breaker breakers for playoffs ONLY: After line up and current (correct) tie breakers are used and tied we will use the bench players (excluding IR) IF that is also a tie in the wild card game or div championship game, both teams would advance to a freaky 3 way with the next opponent (We could have a 3 way Beastie Bowl)(Highly unlikely)If it’s a tie after the bench has been counted in the Beastie bowl, the two teams will play again week 17, if that’s a tie after bench, game ends in a tie and they split the money.This is only invoked if standard tie breakers end in a tie.

 RTSports can change the outsome at any time.

FARM league

Here is the way it’s going to work:

This year ('11) we will be able to bring up one person (from your farm team)and give up your first round pick.  This needs to be declared  by noon May 1st.

You will also be able to keep two players from your roster that that are still in college to have on your team going into next year. This needs to be done By July 17th

We are going to have a live snake draft July 24th order determined by the NVFL draft order.  I will be providing food (Prob. pigs in a blanket and a veggie tray) at my expense to you all b/c I care Money mouth

We are also by popular demand going to be getting away from CBSsportsline as they SUCK!

I will be keeping the rosters on paper (Prob an excel spreadsheet) this will enable us to draft IDP’s as a major complaint at the meeting was team defenses were too valuable.(This means no more team defences)  If you want to keep a player from the team defense you have now please feel free as one of your two.

Going forward ('12 and beyond) we will be keeping 5 players from year to year on your farm team and bringing up 3 to the NVFL.

If you bring up 3 people you must give up YOUR ORIGINAL first 3 round picks and draw 2 more #’s in free agency

If you bring up 2 YOUR ORIGINAL first 2 round picks and draw one more in F/A

If you bring up one you only pull the standard 5 as normal and lose your first round pick

If you bring up nobody, you will be given and extra protection in free agency (unless it is because you didn’t pay your league dues on time)

Since we will be keeping this on paper we will have to do waiver wire as follows:

executive order 428 which is next year at the league meeting anyone who doesn’t have the money that day, free agency will be done for that team (Top 7 protected) and cuts made (The current formula)  They will also be in danger of having the team sold. They will also not be able to bring up farm players that year as FA is already done.
