By-Laws

1. GENERAL

 

a) Modification of bylaws shall require a 2/3 majority of coaches. 

 


2. MEMBERSHIP

 

a) The C2CFFL shall consist of 12 managers.

 

b) Membership fee of $50 shall be collected from each coach.

 

c) New members shall be selected by the league. 
i. In the event that a current member can no longer fulfill his/her duties as a team manager, the team shall be
forfeited to the league. 
ii. New members shall be approved by a vote by the remaining current members. 

 


3. ORGANIZATION

 

a) The league shall have organizational officers and shall be voted upon annually. 
i. Commissioner 
ii. Junior Commissioner 
iii. Treasurer

 

b) The league shall consist of 4 divisions of 3 teams. 
i. Each team shall play each division team twice during the regular season. 
ii. Each team shall play each non-division team once during the regular season.

 

c) Waiver priority shall be established by blind bidding. 
i. 1000 blind bidding dollars shall be allocated to each team at the beginning of the year.
ii. The blind bidding dollars shall be used only during the current regular season. 
iii. Once a team's blind-bidding dollars are depleted, the team shall wait for the free-agency period to add or drop a player from their roster.

 

iv. A team can add waiver points in 2 ways

 

    1) via trade

 

    2) article submission

 

         a) $25 Waiver Dollars will be awarded for any article submitted and approved by the Commissioner.

 

               i. There is a $25 Waiver Dollar award limit per week (there is no limit to number of articles submitted per week)

 

               ii. There is a $250 Waiver Dollar award limit per season (there is no limit to number of articles submitted per season)

 

          b) Article submission period runs from Tuesday 7am through Tuesday 6:59 am and will be awarded no later than Wednesday 11:59pm of that same week.

 

d) Trades shall be approved by the commissioner 
i. In the event that a trade is involving the commissioner's team, the approval for the trade must be given by the
junior commissioner. 
ii. In the event that a trade is involving both the commissioner and junior commissioner's team, the approval for
the trade must be communicated to both the commissioner and junior commissioner by a member of the league. 

 


4. ROSTERS

 

a) Each teams roster shall consist of 14 active player slots and 1 IR slot.

 

b) The starting roster for each team shall consist of 1 QB, 1 RB, 2 WR, 1 TE, 1 K, 1 RB/WR, 1 WR/TE, and 1 Team DEF/ST.

 

c) A player shall be listed as either DOUBTFUL or OUT on the Official NFL Injury Report to qualify for IR. 
i. Once a player is placed on IR, they shall not be returned to the roster for a minimum of three weeks. 
ii. If the player is traded, the new team is not required to place the player on IR, but the IR period would begin anew for the new coach
if he is.

 


5. PLAYOFFS

 

a) Six teams shall make the playoffs - 4 division winners and 2 wildcard teams.

 

b) Tiebreaking for playoff ranking shall occur as follows: 
i. Head-to-head 
ii. Division record 
iii. Points scored head-to-head 
iv. Total points scored 
v. RTSports published Power Rankings 
vi. Coin toss

 

c) Wild Card Tie Breaker (Three or more Clubs) 
If two clubs are tied after any other club is eliminated, then the tie-breaker reverts to the two-club rule. 
i. If two or more teams from the same division are tied, division tie breaking rules shall be used to eliminate all but the highest ranked club from that division. 
ii. Head-to-head sweep (only if one club has defeated or lost to each of the others) 
iii. Best net points in all games 
iv. Coin toss

 

d) The Points Position

 

The second wildcard spot will belong to the team without a division championship or first wildcard that has the highest total points scored for the season.

 

In the event of a tie for the total points scored for the season, tie-breaking shall occur as follows:

 

i. Overall Record

 

ii. Head-to-head Record

 

iii. Division Record

 

iv. Points scored head-to-head

 

v. RTSports published Power Rankings

 

vi. Coin Toss

 

e) In the event of a playoff game resulting in a tie, after the selected tie-breaking players have been accounted for,
fractional points for all starters, in categories that have reached a minimum 1pt threshold, shall be calculated and
used to break the tie.

 

f) 300 blind-bidding dollars shall be allocated to each championship playoff team for use in the playoffs.

 

g) All tiebreaking rules shall be reversed when establishing the seedings for the Toilet Bowl.

 


6. FINANCES

 

a) The league entry fee shall be $50, to be collected from each coach at the beginning of the season. 
i. In the event that a team has not paid their entry fee by the beginning of the first week of the season, the
commissioner shall be given the pleasure of renaming the offending team as he/she sees fit. Renaming rights will be
returned to the offending team upon receipt of annual dues by the treasurer.

 

b) The league shall use the money collected to pay the RTSports website fee and purchase trophies agreed upon jointly
by the commissioners.

 

c) The remaining money shall be awarded in the following manner: New Payout 2015* (old payout) 
i. Beaver Bowl Champion : 67 % of remainder  (50%)
ii. Beaver Bowl Runner-Up: 33 % of remainder (30%)
iii. Third Place: $50 (10%)
iv. Points Champion: $50 (10%)
