League Fees:
The league entrance fee will be $100.00/team. Additional fees shall be incurred as a result of bidding to acquire free agents or trading during the season. All fees will be collected at the beginning of the season - no exceptions.
Bidding:
There is a $75.00 limit on all FFL owners for bids throughout the season. Any bids won that put the FFL owner over the $75.00 limit, will be forfeit. $25.00 of the bid fee is non-refundable, so use it or lose it.
Lineups:
Playable team lineups shall consist of two (2) QB's, two (2) RB's, three (3) WR's, one (1) TE, one (1) Kicker, and one (1) Defense/Special Teams out of the allowable sixteen (16) players on the roster. Any team can submit a lineup of less positioned players (i.e.) one (1) QB without any penalty.
All lineups are due by the designated time as allowed by RealTime Fantasy Sports system. This date (and time) will be administered by this web site, so you need to check with RealTime Fantasy Sports for any questions. The commissioner nor assistant commissioner do not have control over the site's functions. If no lineup has been submitted by the due date, the previous week lineup shall be used.
Trades/Acquisitions:
Each team is expected to act as their own entity, toward that end, do not call other owners to ask for their advice on whether or not to take trade A or trade B (or what players they think you should trade with other teams etc.). Be man enough to make you own decisions, do your own research (outside of the league) and act accordingly. You can only trade with the same team once during the season.
Whenever a trade/acquisition is made, an equal number of players must also be dropped from the team roster. All teams MUST carry sixteen (16) players. Teams will not be allowed to drop players other than through either trades or the waiver wire acquisition and drop process. If there are any issues with the bids not being awarded properly, the owner must notify the commissioner by phone prior to Thursday 12:00 so the commissioner has time to review it. Owners will not be charged for player trades at this time. Bids shall start at $1 and increment by $1 until the bid window is closed. This feature is managed by RealTime Fantasy Sports. Any
questions regarding this function must be directed to RealTime Fantasy Sports. All owners must notify the Commissioner of any trades during the season. No trades can be submitted for commissioner approval after week 12 concludes. Once the Monday night game is over, that week has concluded.
If you win a bid and drop a player, you cannot add that player back on your roster unless you subsequently post a winning bid for him.
Any league members are free to comment, although they do not actually have a vote on whether or not the trade will be accepted. “Questionable” trades will be referred to the trading committee currently composed of Cliff and the assistant commissioner Marcus W.
While trades do not need to be of equal value, trades must make rational sense for both teams to be approved. Examples of rational sense include trading due to bye weeks, critical games you need to win, trading an area of strength for one of weakness, etc.
You cannot trade for future considerations, draft picks etc. The trade must be for the players in question for the time in question. You cannot for example agree to a trade this week subject to the fact that you will conclude the trade several weeks later (for example to get around bye weeks swapping a qb for a rb this week with an agreement that in the future you will get back a qb for a receiver etc.) as this is essentially teams working together (collusion) rather than trading in their own best interests at the time. For the same reason, once you trade a player to a team, you can not reaquire that player from that same team later.
You can trade a player subject to the provision that if they are the top point getter at the end of the year and there is a payout that the original owner gets to keep the money. This is because this does not in any way affect the outcome on the field.
Statistics:
In the event a player makes a play outside of his roster position, points will be awarded according to the position for which the play was made. (e.g.) LT catches a pass to score a TD. He will be awarded TD points based on the WR TD scoring rules. An offensive player will not receive points for a role in which he played on any special teams. Only Defense/Special teams will earn points in such a case. In the event of a tie in point totals, a tie will be recorded as the head to head record.
Playoffs:
Playoffs will be conducted in the following manner:
Brackets will be divided in groups of 4.
* The top 2 teams by record & points in each division will compete for top prize.
* Positions 3 & 4 in each division will play in the middle bracket with moneys to be determined the first week of playoffs.
* The Bottom Feeders, 5 & 6 in each division, will play for a meager amount of the left-overs.
PAYOUTS:
The top players at each position ( QB, RB, WR, TE, K, DEF) will receive $25.00 and the top points FFL team will also receive $25.
This is for the totals at the end of the season- including the playoffs.
Positions 1 through 9 are paid a fixed percentage of the left over money from league fees and bids. A sample payout is shown below assuming $600.00 in bid fees.
