As commissioner of -TGL- I am partially exempt from the entry fee, however, all other rules and fees apply. The duties of the Commissioner are to oversee the league, maintain and update the web site and make any necessary rulings. All rulings by the Commissioner are final.



THE WEB SITE

All lineups and roster moves will be handled through the web page. It is very easy to navigate through our web site. Roster changes--lineup changes etc. are available under the Teams or Reports heading. Rules, standings, rankings and loads of other info are available on the web for your inspection. If you have any problems navigating, click on the FAQ button (frequently asked questions) for help or give me a call/e-mail.

FEES

The entry fee for the Girly league is $250.00 Due in full on draft day.  Also, we will be having a pool to pick the NFL winners each week (straight up-no point spread). The cost to get into this pool is $50.00 Whoever picks the most winners throughout the season is the winner (payouts will be determined at the auction). Picks are due by the each teams kickoff each week.


THE AUCTION

A roster is comprised of 15 players. Each owner starts the auction with $150. During the auction, during their turn, each owner will announce a player and initial bid ($1 min.)

The order of the turns will be determined by a blind draw prior to the auction.

Once a player has been announced anyone/everyone may bid for that player. The highest bidder
receives the player, it's that simple.

We no longer have the the "big board" so everyone needs to keep track of the picks.

No owner can bid more $ than they have remaining. Every owner must have $1 for every
roster spot remaining. Bidding more money than you have is a NO NO! The first time it happens you will receive a tongue lashing, if it happens again the owner will be fined $5 for each occurrence.

We will have an auctioneer who will run the entire auction. Ruling of the auctioneer will be final!

Additional ground rules will be discussed just prior to the auction.



DEADLINES

Be sure to check deadlines (which are listed under "owner deadlines" and will be discussed prior to the auction.)

LINEUPS will consist of a QB, 2RB?s, 2WR?s, TE, K, Defense/Team and  a flex player (can be a RB, WR or TE.) The Tiebreaker will be the total points from all players on your roster who are not in your starting lineup (otherwise known as Bench Points.)

Each week the status (start or bench) for each roster spot can be changed up until their game starts (THIS WILL BE DISCUSED BEFORE THE AUCTION FOR COMPLETE CLARIFICATION!) Owners are never allowed to change the status of a player once their game has started!!!

Owners are recommended to submit a lineup early and make changes thru out the week
if necessary. Remember, the system will automatically start the same players from the previous week so be sure to make all necessary changes so you don't get stuck starting somebody you don't want to.

WAIVER WIRE. The Waiver Wire period is from Tuesday morning until Wednesday at 11:00pm. This is the period when pickups are prioritized. The best way to describe it is a "re-draft each week" of all available players with the draft order being worst to first (see Wavier Wire In the FAQ for another description.) After the W/W period has expired transactions can still be made in what is called the Free-For-All.

(FREE-FOR-ALL) CUTS/PICKUPS can be made any time between Thursday at 9am until that players game starts. YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO CUT OR PICK-UP A PLAYER ONCE THEIR GAME STARTS.  DOES NOT MATTER IF THEY PLAY THURSDAY, SATURDAY OR MONDAY.  Any owner may cut/pickup any player available right at our website. Be sure to include a cut with any attempted pickup--the computer will not allow a team to have more than 15 players.

Please don't abuse cuts/pick-ups. What I mean is don't stockpile certain players or certain positions just to prevent another team from picking someone up, just to cut them minutes before the deadline. It is not in the spirit of our league. If this trend continues we will make mid-season changes to prevent this.

Players who are out do to COVID can be temporarily cut and than returned to your roster...the player picked up for the COVID cut will be the player released the following week. COVID cuts can only be made after the wavier wire period.

  
TRADES are encouraged and must be consummated 1 hour before the 1st kickoff of the week. BOTH owners must send me an e-mail (johnclark2100@yahoo.com) confirming the deal. Money or considerations outside of -TGL- are strictly forbidden! 2 for 1, 3 for 2 etc.... trades are acceptable, however, if a trade puts you over 15 players you MUST include a cut to keep your roster at 15. If a roster is over 15 players the commish will make a cut for you and the only way to get that player
back (if that's not the player you wanted to cut) is to try and pick him up. Once a player is traded, he cannot be traded back to the same team for 2 weeks (though he may be traded to another team or cut). This is called a Trade Back--teams conspiring to cover bye weeks or injuries--don't do it. A TRADE MUST BE CONFIRMED BY BOTH TEAMS BEFORE IT IS OFFICIAL! To avoid any "questionable deals" no trades will be allowed in the final 2 weeks. Also, any team that is mathematically eliminated from winning cash cannot make any trades.


CASH & PRIZES

 Cash will be disbursed as follows:

$50 for the team with the most points (season).....$50 for most points at each position (QB, RB, WR, TE, K,  & D/TEAM.--all points scored by a player count towards their season total)...$50 for high single game total.....$50 for the team with the most points scored against (season)....

 

The balance is split approximately 40% 1st, 30% 2nd, 20% 3rd and 10% for 4th. Tie breakers: 1.Most points for 2.Head to head record 3.Head to head points 4.Beer chug!




MISC.

There will NOT be any special auction order to accommodate the Opening Game on Thursday night. Instead we will take a break at about 8:30 Anyone who wants to start a player must do so at that time.
