2021 XGFL BY-LAWS

 

League Entry Fee: $150.00 for you team is currently due. Your payment is an agreement that you will abide by the rules and fully understand how this league operates.

 

XGFL Lottery: The lottery will be Sunday August 1st, 2021 at 4pm

 

XGFL Draft will be Tuesday, September 7th, 2021 at 8:00 PM via RT Sports Website. In order to draft your team the league fee must be paid otherwise we'll simply move on. Please be on time and plan to be drafting at least 2 hours.

 

 

 

This league has ZERO tolerance for drama. If someone brings unecessary drama to this league I can promise that individual will not be back next season. I like everyone in the league but addressing me with yelling, screaming, conspiracy theories, or disrespectful bullshit, I don't play that shit and that person will be automaticallly gone. If you have a problem contact me and I'll do my best to rectify the situation. if you tell me you didn't know or didn't have enough time that's your problem. It's nothing personal but I don't bend the rules for anyone period. If you plan on being successful in this league I highly suggest everyone READ THE RULES.

 

Message board-The message board is strictly for the best of shit talkers. Talk as much shit as you want just be respectful. Posting malicious messages or constant bitching ABSOLUTELY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED! Violate the message board and you will be blocked from using it.

 

 

 

Team Rosters: Each team has a roster limit 17 active players.

 

 

 

Trades: If a trade seems lopsided, illogical, or collusion is involved it's grounds for review and will be possibly vetoed by the commissioner. Trades will officially end Week 14.

 

 

 

FAAB Waiver Wire: Officially begin after Week starting every Tuesday and will end every Thursday at 12:30am. ****Time will be according to RT Sports****Each team has a Faab budget of $100 per season. The earlier you put your waiver adds in the better. If 2 GMs bid the same amount for a player, the GM that puts their bid in the earliest will be awarded the player. Make sure your waiver wire acquisitions are entered correctly. The system will not alert you if a mistake is being made so please double check them. 

 

 

 

Free Agent Transactions: Starts Thursdays at 7:00 AM and ends Monday at 10:30PM-First come first serve regardless of ranking. IMPORTANT: Players that are in the act of playing or have played cannot be added to the roster until the next week. Example: If CJ Frafrida Procise plays Thursday Night Football and blows up for 160 yd-2 TDs he can't be picked up until the Waiver wire or Free Agent transactions the following week. Players can only be added if they haven't played for the current week.

 

 

 

Roster Violations: Make sure when dropping and adding players that your roster meets the minimum and maximum requirements. All teams have minimum requirements for each postion. Everyone's roster is required to have QB-1 total, RB-2 total, WR-3 total, Kicker-1 total, and Defense-1 total, at all times. Starting means actually active and playing in the game. Purposely benching players is a roster violation.The maximum requirements of each team roster should not exceed QB-3 total, RB-7-total,WR-7 total,TE-3 total, K-2 total, and Team Defense-3 total. When adding or dropping players or waiver acquistions there is a roster counter that will appear at the top of the screen of your current roster numerically by postion. THE SYSTEM WILL NOT ALERT YOU if you're making a roster violation, it just won't change anything. Example: If you drop a Team Defense for a player and you dont have another defense then it's a roster violation and your waiver wire/free agent acquistion will not be honored.

Starting Lineups: It's everyone's responsibility to get their starting lineups on time and entered correctly, so triple check your lineups. DO NOT FORGET TO HIT THE SUBMIT STARTING LINEUP BUTTON ONCE YOUR FINISHED ENTERING YOUR LINEUP! If it's a minute after the game starts and you forgot to start Pablo Diablo you get 0 points. Be aware of the game schedules especially the Thursday, Saturday, international, and holiday games. Players can be switched in and out of the starting lineup as long if the player/players that are switched out have not played. Starting means the players are active and physically playing in the game. 

 

 

 

Stat Corrections: Ocassionally RT stats don't always register real time. Every Friday missed stats by RT will be posted and added to the score from the previous week. For whatever reason RT does not subtract points for fumbles lost on special teams/defense. If this occurs notify and I'll manually subtract the points. 

 

 

 

Benching players: Purposely benching players violates starting lineup requirements. All situations regarding illegal lineups will be judged on a case by case basis. Its one thing if a player is deemed active and ends up not playing. Intentionally benching a player is illegal, a roster violation and an automatic disqualification.

 

 

 

Participation- There's nothing worse than an owner that doesn't play the entire season. Everyone is required to start a competitive roster each week. One way not to be back in this league is only playing when it benefits you. 

 

Computer and Site Issues: If your experiencing problems with your computer or the website call me ASAP. Posting a message shows documentation of the problem and everyone is aware of the situation. If you call me and I'm not available, leave me a message stating your issue. As long as there's a time stamp on either voicemail, text, or message board post BEFORE the game starts only then will changes be allowed. If I can't get it rectified until after the game starts the atleast we'll have proof of your intentions to start or sit a particular player/players.

 

 

 

Accidental drops: If an owner accidentally drops a player I will consider it on a case by case basis. Accidents certainly happen but the sooner the I know the better. It's harder to reverse when owners have added or dropped players as a result from the accidental player dropped. There are transaction logs that shows every player added and dropped from your roster. If you make changes it's in your best interest to double check just to be sure you did them correctly.

 

 

 

Pickems: Make sure your pickems are entered correctly and before kickoff for each game to count. In the event of a tie the total points of the last game will be the tiebreaker. In the event of a second tie the tiebreaker will be the total correct picks from playoff pickems. 

 

 

Injured Reserve: A player can be put on IR if the player is ruled OUT for 2 games or missing an extended period of time, or out for the season. If a player has missed a week he's not available for IR unless he's listed on the injury report as doubtful or OUT the following week on Sunday's inactive list. Players that are suspended, probable, questionable, or perfectly healthy are not eligible for Injured Reserve. Repeat offenders of IR will result in fines and blocked from making free agent transactions. Only one warning will be issued.

 

 

 

Injured/Covid Reserve: Each team has one IR slot strictly for an injured player. Each team has three slots for players with Covid . Covid players are not allowed on injured reserve and injured players are not allowed to be on the Covid injured reserve. If this does happen the owner will be fined  

 

 

 

 1st offense: Fine $40 waiver cap money, player on IR will be automatically dropped, barred from making waiver bids or free agent transactioms for the week

 

2nd offense: Fine $ 60 waiver cap money, player or iR will be autonatically dropped, barred from making waiver bids or free agent transactions for 2 weeks, possibly banned from returning next season. If an owner decides to quit the season the commissioner will assume control of the team and only start the best lineup possible until a replacement can be found. If the offender has insufficient waiver money for the current season it will be deducted from the following season If the owner ia allowed to return. 

 

 

 

Collusion: Purposely throwing games will get one kicked out of the league period. Dropping good players for your buddy to pickup. Trades that involve something other then the players themselves. Selling players for cash will result in a lifetime ban.

 

 

 

Playoffs: The top two division winners will automatically be in the playoffs and will receive byes the first week of the playoffs. The remaining 4 teams will be seeded on based on overall record, total points, and division record as the tiebreaker. Playoffs will officially start Week 15 and end Week 18. Total Points runs through the playoffs. Only teams in the playoffs will be able to use the waiver wire and free agency.
